It can and i suggest you should. My is running on Android 7.0.

After thr upgrade, factory reset your phone and if the issue persists then take it to carlcare.

Thank you. I have already rectified it. The problem was the battery, so I replaced it with a new one. The old one was really soft when it was brought out.

I've forgotten the features.

Go to Settings >> About Phone >> System Update and refresh.

Backup your phone before you update just in case.

how much did you get the new battery? my hot 4 battery is now very weak. and how long does it take for your phone to charge from 0-100 ?

I got it for #1500 at Alaba market in Lagos here. Then, I didn't charge it from 0. It charged from 40-100 in 1hr45mins. I believe that's how a normal Hot 4 battery charges.

You have app that u can use to backup your files... It's called xcloud

doesn't offer much backup options; just contacts, messages, logbook,fm,notebook and wlan

Yea... As long as it's Ota update and your phone is not rooted... U just upgrade... But u need to backup ur messages or contacts because factory reset is indeed necessary after upgraded
