Afonjas don't travel outside Lagos, so what is ogundele doing in calabar and at the eastern port?

Afonjas always reaping from where they did not sow.

that is why they faint at the mention of biafra.
ignorant one. I'm full blooded Yoruba stayed in calabar for two years and that port is close to MM highway around MDS just a few minutes from zone 6 head quarters. stop generalising foolishly. yorubas are not responsible for your monumental failure as an ethnic group and politically

LoL this might mean another change might mean stop using the pot or increase usage

cheesy cheesy but of course

Have you heard of customs? Do you know the FG controls it and the revenue it generates?

What about Nigerian Ports Authority? Do you know the FG controls it and the revenues it generates?

Do you know NIMASA? Do you know it and its revenues also belong to the FG?

Can you tell me which revenue the Lagos state govt makes from the ports? Then when you're through, you now calculate the pressures and stress exerted on the infrastructure in Lagos and how they compensate cool

u are the ignorant one here, agreed FG controls these agencies u mentioned, but Lagos State Govt. Gets 13% of the total money FG makes from its territory. So if the revenue FG makes drops, the 13% Lagos state makes also drops.

Three major factors made Lagos great
1.The igbos
2.Population
3.The ports .
If any of these three above is affected in any way Lagos would crumble.

Maybe you didn't read the where the concessionaires complained about under utilization of their capacities and the part where the MD of the port who was appointed September 2015 by President Buhari listed how he solved the problems he inherited from GEJ

Because the revenue it derives from there will reduce drastically, because a lot of the importers are easterns,
Which state will want it's internally generated revenue t
drop.

Hmmm, you are not intelligent at all. You mean chinedu will prefer to import thru calabar and later transport it back to Lagos where the market is because he is from the east.

By the way is calabar in the east and do they speak same languge with the ibos

you keep wishing! Ibos came to lagos because they saw a city that held potential, and why is calabar, port harcourt and all other cities with ports not as big economically as Lagos. And remember Lagos has always being big right from precolonial times. so stop your tribe forward like it is the only one in lagos.

Even if the FG dredges Calabar, double dredges Onne, builds a new port in Akwa Ibom, Brass and Bonny Island...... Igbos will still not leave the West.
Their excuse that the busiest port is in Lagos is just so flimsy. When you see them in such places as Abeokuta and Benin you will have to ask yourself if the seaports are the reason they are also there.
Igbos you can't survive without the rest of Nigeria, you people should just admit it. cheesy
This guy Igbos are always a nightmare to you. You go kpeme ooo ontop of Igbo people matter, you want one Nigeria and you don't want the Igbos to live freely in any part of one Nigeria. Your people dont like to travel and explore for opportunities, why always envy those who have the zeal to explore the world.

See the link below and see where Fashola was demanding that Lagos gets a share of the revenue it generates for the FG

LAGOS — Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State, yesterday, demanded from the Federal Government part of the revenue generated from ports formations in the state, especially Apapa and Tin Can ports, saying, “the state bears the brunt of the ports activities.”

You're very wrong. Only the number 1 is sustaining Lagos. The day they all decide to leave, Lagos would crumble just like Indonesia is already crumbling from executing them on a daily basis.

Meanwhile, when are you geniuses going to replicate Lagos in your enclave? abi is there a curse on you that mandates you not to develop your own place? If u replicate Lagos in alayeeboe, will you guys die? angry

Let's agree Lagos will lose some bizness to some state. Do you think this will have a huge effect on Lagos. Am sure many also predicted decline in the growth of Lagos after fct was taken to abuja.

Why not? If you had 20 customers and 6 stop coming to buy from you is your income increasing or decreasing?

What happened to the Ibaka seaport? How can you bypass Oron and all those little islands into the shallow river creek to build a seaport at Calabar? Does that make any sense?
