6 months = 180 days = 25 5/7 weeks or

25 weeks and 5 days.

Let a = No of push ups for the first week = 3*7= 21

Therefore Total push ups for 25 weeks = 21+ 2*21 + 3*21.....+ 25*21

Using Sum of the first 25 weeks= n/2 (a+l)
Where n = n terms and l= last term

S25 = 25/2 (21 + 25*21) = 25/2 (21) (1+25)

= 25/2 *21*26 = 6825 push ups

But Total Push ups done in the next 5days = 5*3*26= 390 push ups

Therefore, overall push ups for 6months = 390 + 6825 = 7215 push ups
