DRACONIAN TELECOMMUNICATION BILL IS CLUELESS & MUST BE REJECTED BY ALL.

The recent announcement from the minister of communication that the Federal Government is proposing to introduce a communication Service Tax bill CST, which seeks to levy 9% on telecommunication subscribers for users of various
Services such as voice call, SMS, MMS, data usage from telecommunication service providers, Pay TV stations and internet service providers is a sign of clueless & lazy elements in government.

How do one describe this? That despite all the natural resources embedded in Nigeria soil non can be explored to generate revenue for government.

Researches are not been made to discover more natural resources, the only means of generating revenue by Nigeria ruling elite is Oil & Taxing the over Taxed citizens.

I am of the opinion that if oil had not been discovered in Bayelsa by the foreign oil explorers, Nigeria ruling elites wouldn't have discovered it because they want already made quick money source. This reveals why so many embedded resources in Nigeria soil have not been discovered and discovered once not being explored.

For those praying for oil to dry up in Nigeria so as to force those in government look towards other ways of generating revenue you better reverse your prayer unless you are ready for a revolution. This is a tip of what will happen if it dries up, all forms of draconian taxes will be introduced including 'breathing tax' drinking 'water tax' 'toilet tax' 'walking tax' etc.

Nigeria ruling elite are not ready to disturb their brain thinking, or waste their loot on establishing any government own company that will generate revenue, when there are over 150milion people that tax can be imposed on.

I am forced to ask if this communication minister has thought of how to improve telecommunication services and stop the rip-off of Nigerians by capitalist telecommunication service providers?

Has he thought of how to using the communication ministry under his watch to improve security?

Has he thought of Launching Nigeria's cable satellite to stop DSTV exploitation of Nigerian's and generate revenue through that means?

Has he thought of establishing a telecommunication cable manufacturing industry to manufacture cables and sell to telecommunication giants in Nigeria and abroad?

Has he thought of how Nigeria will start manufacturing phones and computers?

Has he thought of Nigeria broad band communication network?

Has he thought of how telecommunication can improve education in Nigeria?

I can go on and on. Its obvious that this minister wants to impress he's boss that he has a clue of generating revenue just like his colleague in works & power lead the draconian advocate for increase in electricity tariff.

This bill can never stand and must be rejected by all Nigerians.

Just like the judge that convicted Ibori in the UK said 'that Delta State never had a leader but a thief in government House' Nigeria has never had leaders but looters in Government Houses.

Unite for a better Nigeria under a peoples political party built on a socialist program and idea poised to equally distribute Nigeria resources among all.

Nigeria need leaders, what leadership will you provide? Equip yourself ideologically today.

God Bless Nigeria!

Very clueless, ancient thinking, wicked, greedy, antediluvian leaders and politicians. Nigeria politicians lack any sense of rationality and bright ideas. Under buhari it's worse, making it worst he is surrounded by ancient fanatics. angry

some zombies are already praising bubu for impoverishing nigerians by increasing non oil revenue without any govt non oil investment or infrastructure to help entrepreneur that pay the revenue, even using the non oil extorted revenue to search for oil where there is clearly none. by the time all companies close i will know where else they will look for their revenue

Truer words have never been spoken. Rather than devise policies and means to protect Nigerians from poor yet exploitative services rendered by foreign organisations within the sector, the government has chosen instead to join the bandwagon and squeeze Nigerians even harder.

Is this supposed to be the change? Hell NO!
