My Opinion On Buhari's Government by donchester70: 4:58pm On Aug 22, 2016
Buhari AND APC. According to my view concerningAPC slogan (change) in the last presidential election is in order to 'revive' the stature of man and to make the four freedom a living reality.
And also to correct past mistakes as acclaimed by Buhari during Jonathan's regime. I interpret the election and aims to mean the enjoyment of political freedom
Everywhere in the world
1. Political freedom is understood to mean the Right of a Self-determination , freedom of speech and press, right of the citizen to participate in the government of his nation. Buhari's government and APC as a ruling party has failed by trying to shut the mouth of any individual that wants to challenge their ruling/governance by using EFCC as a tool to hunt and intimidate any perceived critic or enemy.
2. Social equality implies the right of human to associate with his or her fellow human regardless of such extraneous factors as race, creed or station in life.
3. Economic security, means the right a citizens to sufficient food, convenient shelter, comfortable clothing and some of the luxuries which go to make life tolerable. Now let's look at the state of economy in Nigeria today, insufficient food for the masses, lack of money. People are suffering and our President enjoyed travelling around the world looking for what never lost or may be he is taking care of his health. State cannot afford to pay worker's salaries, petroleum is on higher side. This has never happened in the history of Nigeria
(#145 per litre). Mr president believed is fighting against corruption, the fight that centered on one side. Buhari has failed by not fulfilling all is campaign promises.
(4). Religious freedom implies freedom to worship according to conscience. Today Muslim in the north vowed not to allow Christian worship their God, the new leader of boko haram's aim at burning churches. Today in the history of Nigeria, are we now enjoying the dividends of our democracy. 'We regretted voting for APC and their lies' our president is also corrupt, when you make a thief your friends, you're also a criminal. Most of our president cabinet members are former criminals who came to hide under his umbrella to avoid probing. What's Dr KAYODE fayemi who gave Mr president #1.5billion naira during campaign from Ekiti state purse doing in your government, the likes of Rotimi Amechi, Raji fashola, Dambazu to mention but few, they're with Mr president. Can we now say conscientiously that we have voted for peace? Are the fruits of victory, namely political freedom, social equality, economic security, and religious freedom enjoyed today by all the peoples who gave their moral support for president Buhari victory. The answer is definitely No, is like we are still living under a political system of benevolent despotism. Because those that demanded to exercise elementary human right like the executive governor of Ekiti state Dr Ayodele Fayose want to be silenced by Mr president. Have you forgotten that you're Once an opposition person and unless an opposition as a ' shadow cabinet' which is capable of replacing the government exists, democracy becomes a sham. Mr president should not hesitate to put his stewardship as a President through the crucible of organized public opinion. Mr president have to be tolerant and allow his official actions to be thoroughly scrutinized no matter how it hurts, failure to tolerate the existence of an opposition party would be disastrous to the existence of democracy. And if Mr president want to intimidate opposition party to win in 2019 general election, he has failed. Nigerians are suffering, the prices for every goods in the market are on the higher price. Buhari have to step down and allow a capable hands to take proper control of Nigeria.
