A CALL TO INVESTIGATE A 27 BILLION NAIRA FRAUDULENTLY CONVERTED BY ONE CHIEF ‘AUGUSTINE’ OVIE OMO-AGEGE

We the members of The Conscience for Democratic Accountability, a non-governmental organization titillating the public conscience for general accountability of men in the public and or societal structure, who on the basis of high probity ought to be accountable for public funds in their self election to agree to hold public service, have thus desire to petition one ‘self-styled’ bigot by name Ovie (Augustine) Omo-Agege to EFCC through your office as our Lawyer briefed to so do.

This has become expediently mandatory for his outlandish style of life from his ill-gotten and stolen monies from public funds. In his short stay in the Delta State Government, first as Executive Assistant to the Governor, Commissioner for Special Duties (Government House), and later Secretary to the State Government, where he finally without batting an eye lid, bare facedly, and without scruples, burnt government records by setting the public office he then occupied on fire.

His romance with Delta State Government was abysmally short. It is from mid-2004 to May 29, 2007, where he metamorphosed into government as Executive Assistant and climaxed through Commissionership to Secretary to the State Government.

It is pertinent to note that after he was sentenced and convicted for violating California Penal Code, Section 470 for forgery, a felonious offence indicting him for moral turpitude under California Rule 955 when he occupied 6009 XQ, Bakersfield, CA, located between Old River Road, Coney Island Drive and Empire State Drive, California, in the United States of America with Telephone No (661) 472-7843. He was consequently suspended by the California Attorney-General from practicing as a Lawyer, from whence he fraudulently ceased to answer his English name “AUGUSTINE” – a name that saw him from primary school in his element, through St. Georges College, Obinomba in Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State, to University of Benin, Benin-City.

He then was forced to make a home back coming to Nigeria without even a car of his own or any other personal property not to talk of choice properties. We wish to note that within the short space of 2004 and 2007 aforementioned, he questionably amassed the following properties here under-listed amongst others, yet to be revealed as follows:

(a) A palatial estate of multi blocks at Orhomuru – Orogun, built on reclaimed land valued at 1.5 billion

(b) A massive residential mansion located at No. 2-4 Johnson Duku Street, off the High Court Road, Effurun, GRA valued at 2 billion, which property was built on a reclaimed land, with pure cement, on a natural water way.

(c) Another sprawling mansion at 45 T.Y. Danjuma Street, Asokoro, Abuja. This property is two buildings away from the Swedish Embassy. In this, he bought an existing house for 300 million and built for 2 billion.

(d) He owns three (3) dredgers at Onne, Rivers State valued 1.8 billion Naira.

(e) He also owns four (4) House boats valued at 500 million at Onne, Rivers State.

(f) Sources close to the Chambers of Commerce and Industries disclose that he has avowed intervention and interest as a competitive importer of sugar as a new pet project.

In pursuance of your statutory duties and good office, we, in our conscience, as our name exemplifies, hereby call on you to investigate the sources and mode of his ill-gotten and stupendous accusation, which we suspect are all traceable to his service in government; which we know he lacked and never acquired before his entry point in government.

His due and diligent prosecution will serve as a deterrent to all greedy politicians of his ilk more particularly as an ex-convict, he knew that he is an unfit and proper person to hold public office, an act concealable by him which in itself is a fraud.

We rely on the assurances of the prompt action your good office would give to this petition for the interest of public conscience and good governance.
