Didn't Costa Rica qualify the same way we did? Well, they just played one of the best footie in this tournament. They deservedly beat Egypt 2-0 in front the noisy egyptian fans. Recall, they only scored a goal or so to qualify |

What is all these noise about Nigeria beating Germany or not. Football is played and won in 90 or 120 minutes plus penalties. The Germans are not better than us. They won their group, so what. For me, all i know is that the Flying Eagles are beating them soundly tomorrow. By the way, here are today's scores: Egypt 0-2 Costa Rica Ghana 2-1 South Africa Hungary 2-2 Czech Rep , Hungary won on penalties. For more, visit www.gamegist.com |

No predictions for this match. The flying eagles disappointed me in their game against Tahiti. Who knows-they may make Nigerians proud today. |

I am not losing sleep over this one. I know the boys will try to give their best , and the nigerian style of play always cause problems for German teams. But if the FE fail to fly then best of luck. I was very concerned and wanted them to make it to the second round because I felt they played well but were just unlucky in the first round. However if they fail to beat Germany , then it will only confirm that it was not luck but simply that the team is not good enough. Sia1 is still the best Nigerian Coach anyways. |

@na so,lets not over praise sisai.I think he got it wrong this time around.Yes he did very well in the past but that is not to say when he makes mistake we should keep quiet. How can he go to tournament of this magnitude with bad or no strikers at all. What is the essence of friendly matches? What is paining me is that Nigeria is blessed with thousands of talented players(strikers) and we are suffering from what we have in abundance.Sisai got it wrong this time around.I hope he had learnt his lessons. We are giving him benefit of doubt this time but we aren't going to condole it subsequently.I pray flying eagles scale tru to the next stage. |

The German U21 that won euro under 21 is not same as the team in Egypt. Even the England team that got to the finals of that competition was very very different from the team in Egypt. Nigeria stands a good chance. up Nigeria. |

nigeria can only continue to disgrace themselves before countries that are not even known in football sphere. but all the same i wish them well. if they are determined today, they can do something cos this is not their first time to qualify to the round of 16 as best lossers but they did something so maybe it is a rule for them. good luck that is if u are serious. |
