For those of you who think the warning lights on your Dashboard are put there to make it colorful, guess what? They aren’t!! It means something is wrong somewhere in your vehicle and it needs to be attended to asap. Here are 10 common Dashboard light warnings you need to know.

1. Airbag Warning Light: It means airbag could go off unexpectedly or not go off when it should

2. ABS: There could be something wrong with the brake system.

3. Check Engine: it indicates there is something wrong with the engine system management.

4. Tyre Pressure: You may need to top up the air in your Tyres or check for puncture.

5. Oil Pressure: It means your oil level need to be topped up.

6. Battery Charge: There might be an issue with the battery charging system.

7. Handbrake: If it stays on after handbrake has been released have your brake fluid level checked.

8. Emergency Indicator: Emergency control is currently engaged in your vehicle.

9. Open Door: One or more doors are not closed properly.

10.Seat Belt: One or more people in the vehicle not wearing seatbelt.

SOS!!! What do I need to do?

Informative thread tho I learnt the hard way a few years back with a manual Mazda 626. Oil icon was on but being a learner I was still driving. I didn't know what it meant and the engine knocked half an hour later..pls always pay attention to the dashboard, the warning lights are there for a reason.
