Having found ourselves in these state , its important that we look forward as to quickly pass this storm.. No doubt the current leadership is to be blamed for not simply doing the right but then if they can take total responsibility and retrace their footsteps, think there is still a future for the country.. Have listed simple steps to put back the country on track , though as simple it might look, it will require big balls to follow them...

1. National Address - The president must boldly speak to the nation , starting by admitting his mistakes and taking fully responsible of the state of the nation.. He must clearly state where he has got it wrong and promise to make amends ..

2. Removal of the hatchet men - what most people don't know is that one man cannot rule a whole nation, no matter how strong they may look. There are men who always stand behind the main man , they are the inner caucus of the the presidency , sometimes called the cabal.. The truth is that the president made that terrible mistake of surrounding himself with these men who all came from his region.. The ripple effect is what we saw in his appointments where only the north got the most sensitive positions , if it were in th military era, won't have matter but in a Democratic and diverse nation like ours , it brings distrust .. A former general must know people across the nation , OBJ did that... So sacking of these men ,their appointments and bringing in other tribes will help position the administration as a unity government. Doesn't look good for one tribe language to be the official language in Aso rock..

3. Dissolution and of the economic team - Now this can be sensitive but the truth is that nobody is confident with our economic team. Key people like the finance minister and the head of economic planning and so on must be shifted to other offices and allow real experts to take over . The truth is that Kemi is just a just there cause of politics and cannot even stand up to the president .. Most decision about the economy is made by the hatchet men and the CBN chief, this puts the finance minister in a difficult position, there are lots of things she would have done but her hand is tied so we need a strong figure ( whose reputation is at stake) who can look the president in the eyes and say do this.. Experts who can repair the damages done to the relations with IMF .. Personality and achievements matters in world affairs so these new experts must take over and granted fully power to act.

4- Presidential visit to the SE and SS - Presidents are like
Gods in Nigeria ( that's why they are called Excellency , makes me laugh sometimes) , only if they know they are just humans... We make mistakes but its only those who make amend and calls for restitution that are really honorable men. The president can announce a week visit to the SE and SS , he can use the presidential lodge in calabar .. In this visit , he will go from state to state and sincerely ask for forgiveness for his comment and map out a development plan from the region.. The truth is that the people of SE and SS are out to sabotage the nation, for those calling for their head are either kids or not wise.. No good policy of this government will work with these regions aggrieved, so the needful must be done with all sincerity.

5. Attention to the clamour for true federalism or regionalism- I understand that no Nigerian president wants to lose power cause like I said they gods . This call is the way forward for this country , we have been experimenting for years with this current structure, for one I long to see Nigeria on regions , each with his own prime minister .. The president can sincerely look into these calls , not bad if this becomes his legacy, will truly make him a national hero .

Have to stop here for now, others can contribute .
