The indegeneous people of Biafra, IPOB, have declared 23rd September 2016 Public Holiday to show full support for Nnamdi Kanu and to show annoyance over the unlawful arrest of the IPOB leader. According to a statement which reads: There is going to be a general public holiday in the south East and South South region On 23rd of September 2016.

let's see how people will voluntarily comply to the call, without the IPOBians having to violently close down shops and other working activities in these regions.

IF CREATION OF BIAFRA WILL LEAD TO ACTUALIZATION AND FUFILMENTS FOR THE IGBOS,THEN I THINK SOUTH EAST SHOULD HAVE THEIR OWN COUNTRY WHERE THEY WILL EXERCISE THEIR AUTONOMY,SO THAT PEACE WILL REIGN.

I think Kanu and his supporters should embark on a hunger strike. That will serve as a true test of their resolve to get their people out of Nigeria. A large number of 'Biafrans' going on a hunger protest may force the government to pay more attention to their quest for independence.
