Everywhere in the Niger delta where the people have common sense enjoy steady electricity, most Nigerians don't know that.

Pictures show Nlng Residential area and industrial area. The main town itself, finima and bonny still reeks of poverty.
The RA is very organised and is managed mainly by Nigerians! Yes , there's serious "Nigerianisation" going on and the expatriates are being replaced by capable Nigerians. You still have few of them though. Light is 24/7, very good road network, hospital is A class, free gym and sports facilities for guest and staff residing there. Excellent schooling facilities (and free) for staff kids. Only staff kids school there, every class has a smart board.school buses always on time, you aren't allowed to drive until you get thier learners permit etc etc etc. Things work on the IA and RA cos you have good systems in place!
Nlng RA is a proof that with the right systems in place, Nigerians can successfully build a beautiful country. And the OP didn't come in through the NLNG jetty using the "catflash", a very comfortable 1 hour 30mins boat ride. Those pictures are from the local boats which I hear are equally good.

You know most Nigerians don't know that NLNG is managed by NIgerians, that tells you Nigeria has no problem but those in it.
Once you design a system where Nigerians without sense especially most trolls here on nairaland will not have access, then you see the possibilities become endless, the dumb people that saturate Nigeria is Nigeria's biggest problem.

Better of course, the days of maintenance blackout is over, when it happens, its always very short, those short trees in the landscape in front of the shopping center has grown pretty big making the environment more serene. OP looks like an NLNG operator so I doubt if he could get pictures of the Shell RA and the Exxon BRT, lovely places on the Island.
