In just less than 2 years of Buhari, Fulani herdsmen have become the 4th deadliest group in the world.

Nigerian army has crushed Boko Haram and have reclaimed all territories but they lockup people in IDP camps and refuse to "authorise" them to go home.

Meanwhile some mumu people will be shouting Sai Baba.

That kind mumu ehnn is Legendary.... angry

The Global Terrorism Index shows you how Terrorism progressed in Nigeria and this was before Buhari came into power:

"In 2013, the Fulani killed around 80 people in total – but by 2014 the group had killed 1,229."

Let's just put facts in perspectives. There's nothing joyous to celebrate this anyway,

Facts!!

Well consider this, Buhari himslef has made every attempt to shield Fulani herdsmen..

Your stats do no show, nor represent nor reflect in any way the amount of attacks by Fulani herdsmen that the government has underplayed, overdenied and refuse to investigate.

To the point of declaring that men from Libya staged some of the attacks, but he wants to spend $1.5million dollars to buy brazillian grass to feed cows.

Now that is a fact............

why are they rating Boko haram??

Lesson: when you give so much media attention to terrorist groups, they tend to do more harm to maintain their status in the media.

Nigeria.. A False Country living in denial.

The question comes to mind readily.. is Nigerian truly a country? are we bound together by our love for each other or held far apart by our greed and disgust for ourselves?

which way forward? where are we? where are we coming from and where are we going to?
can someone give true genuine answers to these questions?

i mean , going by this index from 21st Century Wilberforce Initiative and Stefanus Foundation, 2 American based Humanitarian organisation, identifiny Boko Haram as the most lethal terrorist group in the world.

The organisations disclosed this to a group of journalists while speaking about the challenges faced by victims of terrorism in Nigeria.

According to the Executive Director of the Stefanus Foundation, Mark Lipdo, “Global Terrorism index shows that Boko Haram is the world’s most lethal terrorist group, followed by ISIS, while Al-Qaeda ranks third and the Fulani militants mostly in the middle belt rank 4th”.The 2015 Global Terrorism Index, GTI, had ranked Nigeria as the third most terrorized country in the world up from the fourth position it occupied last year.

Out of the 162 countries of the world that have been worst hit by terrorist attacks, Nigeria, in the latest ranking, follows Iraq and Afghanistan, who were ranked first and second respectively.

The report ranked Pakistan and Syria as the fourth and fifth to complete the top five most terrorized countries.

Lipdo disclosed that 14.8 million Nigerians are directly hit by the crisis in the north east, adding that 1500 schools in the region have been closed, 611 teachers dead and 19,000 others displaced, with 950,000 children forced to stay out of schools, 2000 abducted and 10, 000 boys forced to join Boko Haram.

According to him, “14.8 million Nigerians from north-east are directly impacted by the crisis. Officially, there are 2.2 million Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs.

“Unofficially, there are five to seven millionIDPs. Those in need of special assistance are 2.5 million, comprising children under the age of five, pregnant women and nursing mothers.”

Also speaking at the meeting, the Vice President of the 21st Wilberforce Initiative,Elijah Brown said Nigeria has the third-highest number of internally displaced persons, IDPs, in Africa and the seventh inthe world.

He lamented the menace of herdsmen in the north central and called for quick intervention. As at January this year, the Chief of Army Staff, COAS, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai had stated that the Nigerian Army hasdefeated Boko Haram, assuring that the army will remain vigilant to crush any formof insurgency.

“The North East operation is critical at this stage. The terrorists have been defeated; these criminals may rear their ugly heads through other means. We will continue to maintain vigilance,” the army chief stated.

I Mean, these figures are staggerring..

Corruption bears no good fruits. the other day i was watching on television and i heard the American secretary of states...

i will quote him verbatim..

At the world economic forum in 2016, American secretary of state, Senator John Kerry highlighted the ills of corruption,

corruption threatens global growth, global stability and indeed the global future.

in his word, when president buhari took over power last year, he inherited a military that was under-paid, under-fed and unable to protect the nigerian people from Boko Haram and one reason was that much of the military budget was finding its way into the pocket of the Generals and just this week we saw reports that more than 50 people in Nigeria including former government officials stole $9billion from the treasury.

i cant trasncribe everything here, but he went further to make mention that proceeds from corruption are banked with legitimate banks all around the world..

he went further to say that, in his words.. " the fact is there is absolutly nothing more demoralising, more destructive, more dis-empowering for any citizen than the believe that the systme is rigged against them and that people in power are stealing the future of their own people..

he goes further highlighting the ills of Corruption. saying " Corruption is a social danger because it feed organised crime, it destroys Nation states, it imperils oppourtunities perticularly for women and girls, it fascilitates environmental degradation, it contributes to human trafficing, and undermines whole communities and it destroys the future.. Corruption is a radicaliser because it destroys faith inlegitimate Authority, it opens up vacums which allows predators to move in, and no one knows that better than the violent extremist group who regularly use corruption as a recruiting tool, corruption is an oppourtunity destroyer because it discourages honest and accountable investments, it makes businesses more expensive to operate, it drives up the cost of public services for local tax payers and it turns a Nation entire National Budget into a feeding trough, for the privilledged few.

Nigeria surly has a long long way to go.
