The ongoing disarmament programme of Imo state government to ensure peace in the Niger Delta region of Ohaji Egbema-Oguta State constituencies are yielding positive results.

Today, another set of youths led by their leader-"General", including Native Doctors have surrendered their arms and charms in acceptance of the peace initiative of Governor Rochas Okorocha at Imo International Conference Centre - IICC ,Owerri, as the Governor is bent on restoring peace to the troubled area.

The amnesty programme offered by Governor Rochas Okorocha ends officially tomorrow, and it has been a huge success.
