Fellow Nigerians good morning to you all. Glory be to Almighty God who has kept us both as an individual and as a Country to witness yet another National Independence Day.

The journey has been tough and rough but so far so good here we are. For us to finally make it to the dream land we must acknowledge the following:

1. That no guts, no glory.
2. That change must begin from the top.
3. That in unity we can achieve great things easily and in a short while.
4. That if we care for one another there will always be enough good life for every one.
5. That if we place our country first, development will move at a faster pace.
6. That tribal sentiments is a constant break on an already slow-moving vessel.
7. That the fear of God is the beginning of breakthrough.

TO OUR LEADERS

1. No one has the monopoly of knowledge, we all need each other to achieve maximum results.
2. Absence of leadership kills initiatives.
3. Leadership by example guarantees unrivalled achievements and success.
4. Treacherous leadership digs so many pits around you and one must surely swallow you.
5. A trial and error leadership is the sure way to sink a ship.
6. A leader must not rely on speculations, hearsays and sentiments to make judgments.
7. A leadership position is not meant to dig up past personal pains and the use state power to the scores one by one.

TO OUR POLITICIANS

1. Politics should not be seen as a route to achieve what you couldn't in years, in one day.
2. Politicians are not supposed to look like ritualists because they are meant to bring succour not to scuttle them.
3. Politics is supposed to be plain and simple not people eating and drinking everything to prove their allegiance only to kill their tomorrow today.
4. Betraying long standing friends and family just to grab a non-lasting relevance shows how conscience is not a friend in this field.
5. I don't think anyone who doesn't has a burning desire to render a sacrificial help has any business in politics.
6. Politics looks like a game with a reward for all players from the outside but the perception is not the reality.
7. Politics provides another facade where pretenders continue to hide and perpetuate their treachery.

TO OUR PASTORS AND MEN OF 'GOD'

1. Please tell our leaders what will make them put in some efforts to please God, not otherwise.
2. Please don't tell your followers to look up to God for their needs while you rely on them for a lavish lifestyle.
3. Please don't deceive the society in the name of God, don't lead others astray while looking for your daily bread.
4. Working for Satan while singing the name of God as a way of life is the greatest disservice to humanity.
5. Men of God who can't rebuke evil in the society nor among their followers need no one to tell who they are, what they are and where they are heading.
6. We shall all reap what we sow but men of God who make people sow more than they can reap will have their day with God.
7. In all nation of old, men of God played important roles in their prominence, what role are you playing to make your country great?

TO US THE CITIZENS

1. Contribute positively towards a great Nigeria.
2. It's painful if you want to look at the top but you can help lay the foundation for the nation of your dream.
3. Never look up to a fellow man to help you. Try your best at helping yourself and God will do the rest.
4. Don't give up, tough times are made to create men out of boys - in due time you will be great.
5. Let's think about what we can do to gain recognition because no one will come looking for a nobody.
6. Don't rely on friends too much cos they are fallible humans too to avoid adding more difficulties to your path to success.
7. God is all without him we are nothing.

Happy independence day once again to all.

God strengthen us to grow our country.

God bless Nigeria
