It is no longer news that the economy is hard. People are deperately looking for ways to cut cost including me. If there is any time to cut cost is now. The method I'm about to share here is only available to MTN users.

Note, this is not a cheat or trick to defroud MTN. It is very legal and you don't need to download or install any software.

MTN has many tarrif plans. We are going to work with only three out of those plans.

These plans are:

1. BetterTalk and
2. Pulse
3. ExtraPro respectively.

BetterTalk has bonus, pulse has free night browsing while ExtraPro has the cheapest call rate.

Now, this is what I'm doing. Before I recharge any card, I must migrate to Bettertalk and recieve bonus on that recharge. Use the bonus to browse and make calls till its exhusted. As soon as I exhust the bonus. I simply migrate back to pulse before I subscribe to get double data.

If I want to make long call, then extrapro is where to migrate to but I usually switch between Bettertalk and pulse because I do more of browsing than calls.


Here is how to spend less and get more value for your money on MTN.

Let say you want to recharge N500 card. Instead of recharging the N500 on your normal plan and get N500 in your balance, migrate to bettertalk first before you load the card and get N1,500 in your balance. N1,000 is the bonus and it last for 7days plus your original N500 = N1,500.

Now, use the 1k to browse, make calls and text till you exhust it and migrate back to extrapro to enjoy cheapest call rate or pulse to get double data before you do any subscription.

For example; with only N500, I usually get N1,500 + 2gb data in 7days switching between bettertalk and pulse.

This is how I'm flexing my favourite network (MTN) in this recession and it really helps. I'm sure it will help many people out there as well.

Is all about being smart my guy. If MTN think they are scamming me, then they have to think again.
What I do is to migrate to bettertalk before I recharge to get the fucking bonus. But as soon as I exhust it, I migrate back to where I migrated from where call rate is cheap.
With my strategy, I beg tell me how MTN is scamming or can scam me?

Migrate to bettertalk first before you recharge to get the bonus. Migrate to pulse before you subscribe. To get 2gb in 7days for N500 dia *131*103#

Note that your bonus of N500 is N1,000 = N1,500 on bettertalk.
Make sure you migrate back to pulse when your balance drops to N520 or 510 to avoid the story of insuficent credit if your balance drops below N500 before you migrate to pulse to subcribe.

Just follow the instruction I gave above. This strategy is base on weekly subscription.

However, 1k will give you 3k and 4gb in 14days and you must do it weekly or at data exhustion.

The 1GB Bonus on Pulse can it be used during day time or only in the night?

Since it's a 7 days thing, can you use your bonus airtime on Bettertalk for 7 days, then migrate to Pulse and use the 2GB bundle for the alloted 7 days, and then migrate to ExtraPro and use your 500 Airtime for cheaper calls?

If you follow the instructions I gave you must get the result I'm getting. I think you are doing something else or you are missing at some point.

Note that before you subscribe, you must be on pulse and the subscription code is *131*103# Is that what you did? If yes, then check your data balance by sending 2 in an sms to 131 to view your bonus.

You can post a screen shot of your data balance so I can see where the problem is coming from.
