Mare Makhette is an Ivorian-Senegalese man who has become popular for marrying 4 white women. In fact, two from the four women are sisters.
According to AfrikMag, he is also a father of 17 children he had with different women. The man who is a Muslim has also converted his wives to his religion.
Islam allows a man to marry up to four wives, provided he can support and treat them all equally.
It is mentioned in the Quran, Surah 4 Verse 3: “If you fear that you might not treat the orphans justly, then marry the women that seem good to you: two, or three, or four. If you fear that you will not be able to treat them justly, then marry (only) one, or marry from among those whom your right hands possess. Among French speaking west African countries, Côte d' ivoire has the best economy. shuwa Arabs from Niger, people from Burkina Faso etc all flood ivory coast to work on cocoa, palm tree farms etc. I suspect that ivorian is a wealthy farmer who took advantage of poor Nigerian women. I see lots of them in Northern Nigeria.
