African footballer of the year awards has become boring after the days of Etoo vs Okocha. It lost its excitement since Yaya starts claiming the award. |

What major award or prize have we won since we have been hosting it? The trend will still continue but hallelujah somebody coz we have hope this year .... Iheanacho or Alex Iwobi will either emerge as young player of the year or most promising talent |

I think this award will be between Maharez of Algeria and The Gabonese guy Pierre Abumayang .... People clamoring for iheanacho and Iwobi , they re not there yet . They should be getting ready cos they will take Africa and the world by storm . I just like the competetion in that age group ... I think it will be to our advantage . Iheanacho , Iwobi , Isaac success , Moses Simon ...someone should continue with the list . 1 Like |

One question: what's globacom's Corporate Social Responsibility in terms of education in Nigeria? MTN awards tertiary scholarships to nigerian undergraduate students. What exactly does glo do for nigerian students? I think students should demand an answer to this or start boycotting their products and services. 1 Like |

I agree with the poster above. Glo needs to include students scholarship in their CSR. Campus credits or data is too fleeting to be considered as one. All in all, they are very responsible: they sponsor our Super Eagles, CAF Awards and a host of others. |
