The Rwandan genocide is one of the most important of the African history. This catastrophe that made between 600 000 and 1 million deaths cannot be explained the superficial way with which it has been presented, it is to say a war between two ‘tribes’ like the Africans are so pejoratively pointed out. If Blacks had indeed the machetes in their hands to slaughter ‘Tutsis’ and ‘moderated Hutus’, it is the consequence of a colonial and neocolonial conditioning, of an incredible brain wash orchestrated by the West. And as we will see later on, the falsification of a people’s history was at the origin of this horror that shouldn’t have happened......,..,.............

..........The Hutu majority under the command of extremist leaders started to take revenge on the baTutsi about the ill-treatment they suffered from the latter. This was how the first massacre against the baTutsi took place in 1959 in a mood of ‘racial’ madness, compelling 200 000 baTutsi to refuge in the neighbor countries. The several attempts of the baTutsi to return by force, supported by the Americans and British worsened the hate, kept alive by the Belgians who wrote the 10 commandments of the Hutu, one of the very hateful texts ever. The French also brought material support to the Hutu government against the Tutsi. It was in this atmosphere that the order to exterminate the baTutsi and the moderated baHutu, well prepared, was given 15 minutes after the assassination of the Hutu president Juvenal Habyarimana, by air attack. The Hutu extremists pulled out the machetes and the apocalypse crashed down on the land of Musinga.
75% of the baTutsi were exterminated in 13 weeks. Entire families were killed by their neighbors, Tutsi women killed by their Hutu husbands, Tutsi children killed by their Hutu mothers. 600 000 to 1 million killed in 3 months, 200 000 to 300 000 killed in the neighbor country Burundi where the separation Hutu/Tutsi was also in force. When Tutsi government took the power after the genocide in Rwanda, also took revenge on the baHutu who refuged on the East of DR Congo. This is how the baNyarwanda gone mad, who did not know anymore who they were, committed the irreparable. This is how we find ourselves within a hate that no longer finishes.
.......
May this catastrophe serve as a lesson for Africans! Let us no longer allow anybody else but ourselves to write our own history.

At least 11 people have died in clashes in northern Nigeria as Shia Muslims mark an important religious event.
Ashura day gatherings, which commemorate the killing of the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad, were banned in some places, including Katsina state.
Witnesses told the BBC that nine people died in the state's Funtua town when troops tried to block the march.
Police say unruly crowds also attacked other Shia gatherings, including in Kaduna city where two people died.
A house belonging to a leader of pro-Iranian Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) Shia sect was also set alight in the city.
Kaduna state government outlawed the IMN last Friday, saying it was a threat to the state.
Most of Nigeria's Muslims are Sunnis, and there are underlying tensions between them and Shia Muslims.

The UK-based Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC) said in a statement that security forces opened fire with live rounds on followers at the procession in Funtua.
In the northern city of Kano, police say as Shia mourners were returning home after their procession they were set upon by young men - and officers had to rescue 100 of them from their attackers.
In Jos, the main city of the central state of Plateau state, eyewitnesses says an Islamic Shia centre set on fire.
The IHRC says that this year's Ashura processions were preceded by a military build-up that was "reminiscent" to the run-up of clashes last December when 349 Shia Muslims were killed.

In as much as I support the stance of the government on Ban of Unregistered worship centers and using of public places for worship. I also condemn any act of extra judicial killing.
The worrying thing though is the recent involment of civilians in this barbaric acts.
Nigerians most rise up to condemn this atrocity and ask for thorough investigations.

Yes two unrelated events.
The bottom line is extra judicial killings which needs to stop.
We can't continue repeating this cycle of senseless killings.
