Its disheartening but one must ask, how did Plateau State got included among the (NEDC) states when the name of the Commission still remains the North Eastern Development Commission. Where is Plateau State in the Northeastern project ?
Aside (NEDC) the North East enjoy benefits like (VSF) Victims Support Fund, and other special packages from the President/first lady e.t.c. yet Plateau State benefits nothing due to poor representation.

Plateau State is one among States that has experience real terrorism for 15 years ,with a high number of IDPs more than many states in the Northeastern part of Nigeria.
Plateau State has also lost great leaders and future leaders to terrorism with reference to the 2012 attack on a then serving Senator. Late Sen Dantong. Late Hon. Gyang Fulani. Hon. Prince Simon Mwadkon as the only survivor of that deadly attack. Places like Dogo Na hauwa wipe out ,Rop, district,Bachit and so many others.
With historical and evidential facts like this I believe we have enough superior argument for our national Representatives to use in negotiating and laying tentative claims to.
Move for the Commission change of name from North East Development commission (NEDC) to Northern states Development commissioned (NDC).
We need to understand that the Governor alone can not solve all our problems alone, but in other to succeed as a state we need to put all hands on deck, put Plateau interest first by pushing bills that would help save or help improve our life directly not push bills for the sake of publicity stunts.

For all the stupid southerners that have the aim of seeing north divided by written articles will surely fail. Who add plateau in the NDCE? A Hausa Muslim northerner from kano championed the addition of Kano northwest and Plateau north central in the NDCE.

Why the writer shield kano name in his write up? Why not kano and plateau wake up?

If not for kano central senator kwankwaso will plateau be added?

Do the kano central senator hate plateau for seeking it inclusion?

Why will the name change from NEDC to NDC? You mean all 19 state should be included? The same you will come and shout marginalization of the south when all 19 state are added.
