Masters degree does not confer doctorate. She is not a Dr, except she was a medical doctor or had a previous phd.

She might have acquired a doctorate degree on other courses before getting masters in Pet Engineering...

I have a friend who have a bachelor and master degree in Economics. He is currently an undergraduate studying Law in the University. That doesn't mean he isn't a master degree holder.

Youths will soon converge here to laud praises or fight themselves. These politicians will not send their own kids and kin to govt schools here, we all know why. Under-funding, strike and every other ill that hampers good education(Which is primarily their fault).

Why can't we just put an end to hate amongst ourselves as youths and take absolute CHARGE. The more the continue getting degrees outside the more they pay less attention to education in Nigeria.

I once had a prof who had 1 bachelor's degree, 2 master's degrees and 2 doctorate degrees. Earned degrees. Both masters came after his first doctorate. First class/distinction bachelor's graduates went straight to doctorate (DPhil, PhD etc, even MD after doing MRCP and some experience) back then. Even just 10 to 15 years ago in UK, many were still doing it that way.

A honoris causa doctorate was added to his later.
People's education take different paths.
