Politics Nigeria has gotten reliable information and key details into the recent Fake election paper printing press discovery in Rivers state. A few days ago, Atonyesia Peterside and some of his workers were arrested for running a printing press dedicated to the production of fake election papers. Atonyesia, an APC chieftain and cousin to NIMASA boss and former Rivers Guber aspirant, Dakuku Peterside, admitted to the crime before newsmen but all is not what it seems.

Investigations reveal that there is trouble within the Rivers PDP as Governor Nyesom Wike is said to be angry over the way the Party Chairman, Felix Obuah bungled the plot to discredit INEC and the APC leaders over the upcoming rerun elections.
Facts emerging from the camp of the governor said the governor had threatened to sack the Chief of Staff, Emeka Woke who was supposed to have supervised the whole plot but left it in the hands of Obuah who incidentally did not do a "too neat" job. But the timely intervention of some other leaders saved Emeka's job. It was reported that lately, the Chief of Staff has been at logger heads with some loyalists of the governor who have severally hijacked his responsibilities, including the latest scandal rocking the state.


Our source revealed that when the information got to them that Atonyesia Peterside owns a Printing Press, it was then that the plot to rope in Dakuku Peterside, his cousin, began and all in a bid to discredit Rotimi Amaechi, the leader of the APC and Minister of Transportation.


During the meeting, the name of Emma Chinda was also mentioned since he happens to be the State Agent of the APC who handles INEC issues. Emma's ability to produce evidence from INEC for the Governorship tribunal case, despite the resistance of Gezila Khan also called for concern.


In other to further frustrate APC, Emma Chinda had to be roped in. The PDP had almost succeeded before the fight for supremacy over who would lead the operation set in. Felix Obuah a.k.a. Goround decided to sideline Woke and hurriedly put a call through to the SOS Commander, Igbani who arranged some SARS policemen to go on the operation. Unfortunately, the arrangee matter was not formally reported to the Police.


When they stormed the Printing Press with some thugs and policemen from Government House, they seized the place, planted the materials and beat up Atonye and his Staff. They were forcefully taken to the Government House and threatened to be killed, their families kidnapped, if they didn't admit to the offense.


Atonye was made to rope in APC leaders on camera, which they covered with their private Video Cameras before sending same to AIT and other media houses.


Meanwhile, those arrested have told the Police how they were blackmailed to confess to the crime. After the governor's media briefing on the matter where he accused INEC and APC of complicity, majority of Nigerians wondered why the arrested persons were taken to Government House instead of the Police.The leadership of the PDP in the state is said to be angry with the meddlesome party Chairman for the failure of the entire plot. Governor Wike who was highly enraged is said to be shopping for the replacement of Obuah who may have to settle as just the Chairman of the Rivers State Sanitation Authority.

Politics Nigeria is reporting nonsense, how can you say that the video was made before sending it to media houses when the suspect made the confession in the presence of the media or haven't you watched the video?
