u may want 2 chk if d fan is running. Also working on a flat surface cud prevent heat escaping, causing it 2 ovaheat.

Just have the fan replaced. That should solve d problm. Better do it asap to avoid burning your motherboard.

PLS all d gurus in d house, my pc with vista would not boot, because d HDD is bad, how can i recover my data from i and if possible can i repair d HDD again. D HDD is 320G.

@jiggar y nt upgrade 2 a win7? D bootable is available. Plus u cn recover ur files using icare data recovery software. Works like a charm. Gudlck.

hi guys, my laptop is not powering on. When switched on the light comes on for about 4sec the fan rolls but nothing is displayed. It goes off comes back on after another 5secs and the same thing happens.

I have done a herd reset but it didnt work. I then removed the cmos battery and put it back it booted okay but when i shut it down and switched it on again, the same problem persisted. I even replaced the cmos battery but the problem persists. Pls what can i do.

I use a compaq presario f700 with windows 7.
