AWKA - Through CAFE, an NGO set up by the wife of Gov Willie Obiano of Anambra State, Osodieme Ebelechukwu Obiano with support from the United Nations Development Programme, 100 persons were recently trained and duly empowered.

This is coming at a time that the State Government introduced a special economic stimulus package aimed at reducing the effect of the recession on ndi Anambra.
The beneficiaries, who were trained in various fields, received equipment, which would enable them start up vocations in goods and service delivery, so that they could become self-employed and employers of labour in their various communities.
