Former Ogun State governor, Olusegun Osoba, has attributed the present travail of the former chairman of the Board of the Nigerian Ports Authority, Chief Bode George, to Yar’Adua’s predecessor, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.

According to the former managing director of the Daily Times of Nigeria (DTN), Obasanjo’s government created the problem that led to Bode George’s situation today.

Chief Osoba stated that Bode George’s trouble started with Obasanjo’s government setting up of an audit panel to investigate George’s tenure.
“First, it was Obasanjo’s government that sent an audit company, the JK Randle firm of auditors to go and audit the tenure of Olabode George at NPA. They then set up an administrative panel headed by a director in the Ministry of Transport, I think it was Alhaji Mustapha Buka. That panel again went and unraveled a lot of things in the ports authority. The government didn’t stop there. The government now gave the report to the EFCC to investigate,” Osoba stated.

Nigerian politicians always willing to personalise everything. Why can't Mr Osoba blame Mr George for actually stealing! undecided

the truth is that obj has become a brand name in the corruption kingdom.
his skillful and dominant position in aso rock has made him the saint of all time.
he has assumed the position of a private owner of nigeria as he creates and destroys at will.
the big question here is, will he be this owner for ever or how long can he occupy the position of an owner of nigeria?

The mind does boggle. What is sad is that many people will focus on the petty fighting and won't actually focus on whether there were questionable actions or not. Kind of reminds me of Alams after his "trial", going back to Bayelsa state and doing thanksgiving, thanking God for saving him from yhe hands of his enemies. I guess no one in the congregation saw it fit to ask him if he actually stole.
