Story for the Gods. It is disrespectful to the voting populace when a politician cannot come and articulate his plans for governance. It shows his tenure will only be about sharing rice. Before you say you want to contest, you should have ideas as to what you want to do. Give the people a chance to vote if they agree on your ideas and based on what will favor them. Him absconding from the debate only shows his plans will never favor the Ondo people.

So it your useless rallies that will provide electricity ?

At rallies you make all sorts of promises,but a debate gives the electorate the opportunity for cross examination of your promises and lie detection.

I had rather read your manifesto and then observe you at a probing debate,than listen to you at your lie lie rallies.

Before,I was for Aketi,but now, I think Olusola Oke could be more trusted(relatively speaking though) with the mandate of the good people of Ondo State.

However, I am not comfortable with the stance and support of Oke on security vote,it seems some how suspicious.

I totally detest any avenue or tendency for corruption;

These are issues that a potential voter should consider at debates,before casting the precious vote,better than listening to or attending useless rallies.

Jimoh ibrahim was composed to dish out unrealistic ideas. You dont know how government works. Jimoh said he would scrap tax. He didn't know it's statutory. He said he would ask for 10k from 2m volunteers (may be pdp members), very laughable. He said he would increase minimum wage and pensions quickly, only a drunkard would fall for those stuffs he was spewing.

His novel idea of scrapping tax and opening a govenment bond/state trust which citizens could buy into for 10,000 to fund infrastructire was a good idea. He promised to increase min wage to acceptable standards and I was impressed by his qualifications, he has like 3 masters degrees a Phd and a few post grad diplomas

My comment was just on removing tax and levying 2m people, 10k to build roads. Is he well at all? a state with less than 4m population with hardship everywhere. What happens if they dont turn up, since it will be voluntary ? It means people should not expect much from him. Based on this expected fund he wanted to increase salaries , increase pensions even when the state is still having backlogs of salaries owed. When oke asked him within 3 months how would he raise the funds to do all these, he couldn't give sensible answer. He was all out to speak what uneducated suffering people wanted to hear, to get votes. He was very unreal.

It was a bit far out but it's time Nigeria FG got citizens into the idea of buying government bonds. Secure ones ofcause
