Results have also began to trickle in from the Southern Senatorial district and it appears Olusola Oke of the AD is giving a good showing in the area considered his stronghold.

Early results from polling units in Odigbo, Irele, Ilaje, Okitipupa, Ile oluji and Ese Odo local goverments show Oke leading many units.
The election is now a tight race as the 3 leading candidates are leading in their stronghold
