Yes, further investigations showed the men were actually innocent folks who had just been dropped off in an unfamiliar location by Keke a few minutes before, only to be surrounded by people accusing them of rigging elections. Apparently, they needed a place to shower after working all night and being abandoned by other INEC officials, including their attached security. They had no idea where or whose house they were in...they thought it was a hotel, Sadly. Verified information is that they checked out ok (after interrogations) and nothing was found on them. At least that is some good news. Unfortunately, some other individuals (INEC workers, including innocent corpers died in the same location sad Somehow, that did not make the news... Nigeria!!! Some parents are probably unaware of what's happened to their children. Really sad.
Our system of political operation needs a big overhaul.

It is truly a shame that people don't verify information before they post and repost. Folks have not realized the ramifications of libel especially in an increasingly globalized world where everything you post online is seen, set and can be pulled up, traced & used against you at some point, legally or for employment purposes. There is a major crackdown on "Fake News" and the perpetrators of such...even if one thinks they are in Nigeria and hiding behind a screen. Nope, not anymore. You can't have it both ways and it is real.
