My brother, banks / mutual funds beg to lend you money if you are a country.
For countries like USA, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria they will beg hard even bribe because of the resources and / or because of democracy. All they need is some sovereign guarantee to feel secure. That is why it was very important for Buhari to seek NASS approval.

Well, it's on record that Spain is holding on to the catalonia, canada is doing same for Quebec, England held o. To Republic of Ireland for a long time and they are still holding on to Northern Ireland.

If u allow all calls for self determination, each sovereign state would not be bigger than a village. Sovereignty does not confer development nor peace. Great examples are south Sudan, Eritrea, etc

With the FRB raising interest rates.....it's unlikely Nigeria will get a loan from anyone any time soon.
