Just keep calm and don't be discouraged. If your trust is in God, He will not put you to shame. Keep up your honourable ways and still endeavour to give your best even as the Lord opens another door for you.

Some times in life, God voluntarily brings us down a bit in a situation he knows we can handle (even wen we think we can't)..
My advice, keep ur heads up and don't give up and also pray too and I promise you'll get a job way higher than your previous #promise #success bro

Sometimes in life things happen for a reason. According the book of Eccl chap. 3 where it says everything happens for a reason I was just unhappy when at my workplace my superior almost frustrated the life out of me. I don't know why she was like that though I was new at that time. It was an admin role and I was employed by her to work as her PA/Admin Assistant to the company. I had my office to myself and I gave my ALL to both the company and to her but the issues were there evidently submerging with the flow of duties at the office. I guess her personal, family issues were affecting her job but alas!, I was wrong!

It was later in the course of my probatory period I learnt a friend of the company has been pressuring her/the management to pull me off the job and allow his daughter take up my role at the office due to their long working relationship. I was hinted of this 'secret' by one of the top management staff and it broke my heart. The zeal I put in into the job somehow disappeared because I was seeing the signs. My boss was just complaining of EVERYTHING I do and always reminded me of the probatory job agreement I signed before taking up the job thereby filling my heart with fear and anxiety. I kept on praying.

Fast-forward to Dec. 11th I came to the office as usual prepared for the working day ahead only for my bosslady barged into my office and asked that I see her in her office. I thought it was the normal day work rountine of telling me what I will be doing for her only for her to tell me to hand over EVERYTHING in my possession, everything which belong to the company. I was dumbfounded at first but somehow I try to mutter a word or two which was incoherent to decipher. My heart was beating fast. I didnt say anything thereafter because pleading to her for what I didnt know about will fall on deaf ears.

I went back to my office and tidied up everything, called the office assistant/cleaner and handed everything to him and took my leave. I was crying inside of me, alot was going through my mind. It was as if my world came crashing. How do I explain to my folks what happenned and I hate playing the pity-party.

I came back the next day and handed over my resignation letter thanking them for the time spent and all. Right now, my hopes are hinged on God for another opportunity, just been praying I get a new job the soonest as a vindication for my undeserved ouster from my former place of work.

My experience spans over 7years working as an admin personnel and I won't mind learning on a new role as I am a fast learner and can multi-task and work with or without supervision. The details of my cognate experience(s) are contained in my CV attached therein with this post.

Thanks again.

MY DEAR INSTEAD OF YOUR SHAME YOU SHALL HAVE DOUBLE HONOUR!!!! In Jesus name

We sympathize with you, bro.But seven years running is enough for you to set yourself up with a back up business.
But most of us don't work with the mindset of running a business apart from being a salary earner.
Like me if I'm ask to tender my resignation letter today, developing a shaky feet can never hit me because I have business that can take care of my family and I.

All things work together for good, for those who love God and are the called according to His purpose. Believe this Bro. Get busy doing something you enjoy or learn a new skill before you get another. It is well. Cheer up.

too bad, when a woman is the boss sh!ts happens, take heart friend. Every disappointment is a blessing..

Believe me, that company is not where ur career dwells...

As for the so called sister of the friend... She may not offer that which u offered.

So friend, be grateful that u left something behind.

Cheer up. wink

You can say that again. There was a time I used to work in a school as a class teacher. There was this particular female supervisor who was doing ITK.
Teaching in private school can be very tedious. It's even worse if it's a primary achool. They expect you to write lesson note for all the classes you teach. You will also have to type their homework/project every day. You'll need to keep an eye on those children. If anything happens, na your fault. You are not allowed to flog pupils but reprimand them softly. At the end of the day, i will make sure I mark all their homeworks which could be more than a hundred.
I didn't have no laptop then, but I struggled with the desk top I had at home. This same supervisor started having issues with me and my work. She even said I have money to buy a car but I can't afford a laptop. To cut the long story short, I was asked to resign which I did. Today, I'm far better of than what I used to be. And the interesting thing is that this sqme supervisor left that school where she was a "king" (not queen) to become a teacher in another. By the grace of God, what I earn today plus all my incentives is far more than whqt she gets.
But there are nice women superiors.

Its been worth the while, I'm one in the biz and I can testify that its working. Join my team and be the next testify, call or whatsaap me on 08037798195

I'm wondering why you handed in a letter of resignation. Is she the owner of the company? If not she would tell her boss you resigned. You should've taken the matter to her boss. After 7 years... it would be hard to replace you unless the new person is experienced and capable of replacing you. If not... they'll come after you... and it is for you to make demands.

I will like to thank the entire Nairaland family and everyone who said a prayer or two for me and had wished me well for my next job opportunity. I am so touched by your unwavering concern for my predicament; it is surely one of those things one will face in life. I believe God wants to do a bigger thing for me next year and I trust he will.

I want to thank those that called and tried helping me with a job. I will be candidly glad to want to work for an organization that will offer me a job considering my experience(s). I am still open to learning new roles on a particular in any organization as I am a fast learner.

Thanks everyone who shared my story and my CV, God will continue to increase you guy in all of your endeavours.

Thanks again
