Today I read several speculations as to whether the Governor of Delta State Sen Ifeanyi Okowa is moving to the All Progressive Congress over his recent visit to the State Minister For Petroleum Dr Ibe Kachikwu .

I must state here that there are no elements of truth in those reports, they are all speculations

Gov Okowa is is one of the centre pillars of the PDP and a Leader of inestimable value and it might interest you to know that Gov Okowa does not terminate Relationship because of Political Affiliation.

It will interest you to note that Dr Ibe Kachikwu has been a personal friend of the Governor for long time now.

It is also on record that Dr Kachikwu isn't a career politician but a professional and as such they have been friends before politics.

The visit wasn't an ordinary visit but a visit to celebrate with a friend who gathered men's and women at his hometown to hold a night of praise together with carols night .

The Praise Night and Carols Night wasn't for APC members neither was or for PDP member but for all.

Also it might interest you to know that Gov Okowa has been there for PDP, He was one of the founders of PDP in Delta State.

Gov Okowa is doing well in PDP, he has kept to his promises unlike the APC's , He is one of the best Governor in PDP, So I see no reason why there are speculations of he moving to APC.

He won't dare to think about it.....

Even if Senator Okowa decamps to Apc, he certainly hasnt done anything strange in a country where there is nothing like ideological commitment. To me and majority Deltans Okowa is doing what he needs to do by interfacing with the opposition Apc, particularly those from his senatorial zone since Ibe Kachikwu or Victor Ochei may most likely be the Apc Governorship Candidate in 2019. Wish Okowa well o!
