Someone has a passion to touch lives and registers an NGO, meaning to follow that passion for life. Then after 20 years of doing so, Mr Obazee wakes up one morning, and tries to kill a dream which he was not there when it was born.

That is just plain wrong. You don’t tell people when to cut short their lifelong dream. You should just focus on making sure they are accountable and not corrupt. Did the Italian government restrict the tenure of the Pope as head of the Catholic Church? Is there any regulation restricting Queen Elizabeth’s tenure as Governor of the Anglican Church. Is there any law restricting her from handing over that role to any member of her family?

I should click where to read what, your rants?

Something that started in the time of GEJ with all stake holders fully represented, consulted and their inputs taken, only the Church went to court and lost, why?

If the stake holders agreed on a 20 year single tenure or 70 years of age limit for NGO leaders, what's the fuss?

If you register your church as an NGO, why are you challenging the rules and regulations guiding NGOs?

Is there something I am missing here?

Why should people be forced to suddenly abandon their life'swork after 20 years without notice? I applaud the current reorganization in FRCN, as all they should have done is keep corruption at bay, not interfere in the internal running of NGOs. Kudos to Buhari for doing the right thing.
