Creationism And Race by tonyx4x44(m): 8:50pm On Jan 12, 2017
I need help from knowledgeable creationists in the house.

What race was Adam and Eve (probably white)?

How did black, Asian, Hispanic, red Indians, and so on come about from the creation

They came about over time. At least the Bible records the birth of black men, red men etc That is why Paul said :

and hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
Acts 17:26

Meaning God who made animals of diverse kinds did not stop and let things run. He intended man to have certain variations too.

Man diversified? By this you mean evolved? To multiple races within a 6000-year period

At least the Bible records the birth of black men, red men etc

Please back it up with quotes, especially the black men part.

Also when did this start? I mean at what time did white people spontaneously began birthing black and Chinese men?

Hath made one blood, yes, no talk of colour and race though

Meaning God who made animals of diverse kinds did not stop and let things run. He intended man to have certain variations too.

That is God created animal diverse from the start but made just one time of man and expected him to diversify and change color. Right?

Adam & Eve were probably not white because most bible commentaries give the location of the garden of Eden as somewhere in the middle East. This theory is based on the fact that two of the rivers mentioned in the bible as flowing through the garden, Tigris & Euphrates, are in the middle East.

So Adam & Eve would likely have been middle Eastern not Caucasian.

As for other races, it is very likely that they evolved from Adam & Eve. What I mean by the word evolve is gradual changes based on environmental differences. E.G., black people are dark skinned because of melanin in our skin which protects us from the sun. White people don't need protection from the sun because their own environment is different, thus they don't have melanin.

Well, the quote from Acts suggests that God was involved in the variation process meaning He did not stop interference in nature after the 7th day.

1. Black Genesis 10:6
The sons of Ham were Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan

Verifiable history shows us Cush = Ethiopians, Mizraim = Egyptians. In fact, the Septuagint translates Cush as Aithopia (also see marginal reading of Numbers 12:1). Now what was the distinguishing marks of the Cushites/Ethiopians? They were dark-skinned. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aethiopia

Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of his Cushite wife, for he had married a Cushite woman.Numbers 12:1 NLV

And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.
Num 12:1 KJV

she was so described because she was dark-skinned. we know this because Moses actually married from Midian, not Ethiopia. Hence, the offence was not that she was an inhabitant of Cush but , being one of the first manifestation of racism, she was a black!

Do a search on those described as Ethiopians in the Bible and it will be obvious they were so distinguished because of the unique colour of their skin.

2. Red GEnesis 25:25

25 The first to come out was red, and his whole body was like a hairy garment; so they named him Esau.

ANd he went on to become the father of the Edomites:

This is the account of Esau’s descendants, the Edomites, who lived in the hill country of Seir.
Genesis 36:9

At those times, naming or identification seemed to derive more from appearance.

Sch:That is why Paul said :

and hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
Acts 17:26

Op:Hath made one blood, yes, no talk of colour and race though

When he said all nations of men, the variations have been factored into it.

Would you say all specie of animals were present at creation? NO! In the creation account, pay close attention to the phrase, "after his kind".Gen 1:12, 24

But the diversity of race transcends the white-black polarity that we're familiar with. We have Hispanics, Mongols, Caucasian and other races... There is no how two people would have produced that degree of diversity within a 6000 year period

- middle eastern, same story

- What you have stated is called evolution and no, it takes millions of years not 6000 years

- white people need protection from the sun... It's not the heat that is the problem, it's the ultraviolet rays

I'm glad you see the conundrum. How does that much change happen in 6k years?

How did the change happen? Abruptly? Noah just choose to give birth to one black son? If it was gradual, how comes there are no semi Chinese Israeli natives, or part black natives in Europe?

There seems to be one underlying problem which is the 6000 year age of the earth. Firstly the bible is not a history book. It's a guide to knowing God & not human history. There is a lot of scientific evidence that shows that the earth is not 6000 years old. Some christians are just not willing to face this fact because they think that if the bible is not accurate historically then it can't be trusted.

Apart from the age of the earth, there are several other scriptures that are not historically accurate. For example, the death of Judas Iscariot; Matthew states that he hanged himself but Acts of the apostles says he fell from a height & burst open.

These contradictions do not strip the bible of its divinity. It is the word of God but it came to us through imperfect human beings. So there are bound to be inconsistencies.

If the earth is not 6000 years old then I think we could have all evolved from an initial race.

Do not get ahead of yourself. Adam and Eve gave birth to Cain and Abel. Cain killed Abel then fled to the land of exile and got married.

Where did the lady he married come from and who is she?

Answer that first with biblical references and then we will know you are serious

Paul: all scripture are inspired by God.

Did God inspire an imperfect work? If yes that puts him under scrutiny...

If no... Then we can conclude that the writer caused the inconsistencies, but feeding use incorrect or flawed information. If we can trust the bulk of their information why should we trust their statement that God inspired it... Funny enough they statement is the only thing backing the book to be God's word.

There's a big difference between inspiration & automatic writing. Inspiration gives room for error while automatic writing is the exact words of the author.

God could have written the bible Himself but He chose to use imperfect beings. The real issue is to have a personal revelation of God. Even some people who saw Jesus face to face & experienced the miracles He performed still did not believe.
