So CBN Gov is in charge of the economy right?
What about the dullard and fake oyibo accent? sad sad sad

The buck ends at Buharis door. He fixed the rate without considering market forces. Emefielie crime is that he has refused to challenge Buharis meddling in the semi autonomous central bank. He should have told the president off.

Adeosun was brought up in England and came to Nigeria the first time when she was 19. The accent isn't fake. Its however not a posh accent.

She's has little or no part in determining the exchange rate. That's the CBN's job. I am however not a fan. Her forte isn't economics

I totally agree with the PDP people, though I hate the PDP on principle. Godwin Emefiele has failed in his job. Nigeria is not the only oil producing country undergoing oil price shock, but Nigeria is the only one that has totally mismanaged it. Terrible monetary policies by the CBN have contributed to this. With all the tampering and fiddling the CBN has been doing with domiciliary accounts to the ban on First bank, UBA and other tier 1 banks from the forex market which resulted in a massive depreciation of the naira against the dollar. Emefiele has been terrible at his job.
I think Buhari has been told to leave him on because the central bank position is not one you fiddle with else you lose investor confidence, like it happened in South Africa.
tribal bigot
so emiefele has failed but his english speaking madam at the top has passed abi?

Godwin Emefiele should give Sanusi a call and ask for help, put pride aside the country is shutting down slowly, his trial and error policies is enough! Nigeria is not a Football match where you try different tactics in one day! If he cannot do so he should honorably resign and someone competent should take over!

The main problem is Buhari. Bringing Sanusi won't change anything

as much I don't support this current cbn and its policies....I have never seen emefiele as a good cbn governor I want Deji to understand something

What do we really produce as a nation....that will earn us foreign exchange
why is deji not protesting against his pay masters in APC AND PDP who specialized in stealing our common wealth especially during the last administration?
what has deji done or said about the people who blow up pipelines in the name of fighting for freedom and thereby deprive us of foreign exchange due to low income from oil sales.......

the cbn is just a tiny part of the equation lets protest and solve the issues, each time someone is arrested or prosecuted a bomb blows off then we say oh they are fighting for the emancipation of the niger delta, when they collect money they go and build universities in benin republic buy houses in Germany and buy private jets, some loot money meant for amnesty and yet deji sits with those people everyday
deji knows that the government is fighting a war a full fledged war, but is paymasters went to the cbn and collected 2billion dollars meant for fighting the war but channeled into pdp campaign.... Deji is a member of the pdp campaign team so he definitely shared dasuki dollars now tell me 2billion dollars removed from your vault will definatly shake any economy in the world including that of the usa

I hate hipocrites

That is not the core of the countries problem. Buharis forex policies are a disgrace and that has wrecked the economy. Even if Buhari met a $200billion, he:ll still wreck the economy.

Sanusa has been unrelenting in condemning Buhsris policy

The people I see in these pictures don't seem to understand economic policies in a recession. We all share the pains of the recession but I would ask, why are we in recession and how do we get out of it. If I don't know better than the economic management team, I will support them and let them work. If you must muster in front of CBN, what alternative solution do you have better than the CBN approach.

Who's gonna appoint the pawn? The opposition?

Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) director of new media, Deji Adeyanju and other Nigerians today, January 13th stagged a peaceful protest at the Central Bank Of Nigeria (CBN) office.

The peaceful rally tagged #OccupyCBN was targeted at the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele whose incompetency in some economic policies has seen Nigeria plugged into recession and of course dollar to naira nearing N500.

These people must be joking. Remove minister of finance and minister of planning. two of them are in charge of our economy. CBN is not the one to develop a blueprint that will end recession. We all know what caused this recession. Crashed oil price, JP Morgan and co that pulled their investment from our market, TSA, and wrong policy from minister of finance.

Are you sure, but Sanusi was later sacked. But nobody talk about him as of that time, it is always Ngozi this,Ngozi that, the senate always invite her for the state of finance briefing and monetary policies account of which she use to defend well that time, but now there have never been a single sermon for this current minister of finance to come and give briefing on the state of finance.

A Finance Minister cannot be asked to explain/defend monetary policies.
