All these kinda threads sha. When i think of how much money i have been scammed off in this section, i feel like beating myself up. The most annoying was that guy that said he wants to celebrate his birthday. Didn't know he was the president general of the Calabar-Uyo branch of scammers association. Make una dey mention me na for scam busting threads.

Don't let me remember the days of ignorance. The day my eyes opened, i went back to tabulate all the monies sent to what may actually be scammers and felt really s.illy. Lessons learnt sha.

Do you know a post I made about someone trying to scam us here was deleted? I was shocked.

@Nysot and ifyalways: obviously have a good heart and willing to part with a fraction of what you make. Why don't you just come together and start a small foundation. You dont need any building for that, you'll just start catering for children living with their helplesd parents. I have colleagues who have children at a place called dustbin estate.........my advise

Honestly, I used to hear Ajegunle but never knew where it is. The only word associated with the place is 'ghetto' but where it is in Lagos,I do not know.

Looked up Dustbin estate Ajegunle and the sight is nothing to write home about

Each time I passed Third Mainland and I see those houses on the right hand side I feel sad, just when I thought I've seen it all,this Dustbin estate is worse. So people live in that dump @ Intrepid01? This is sad honestly.

Now,these are people that really need help .
Those that have it easy for them do not know what they have honestly and need to be grateful.

They have some kids from the estate that they have adopted , although they still live with their parents. They calculate their feeding allowance per term, school fees and other upkeep allowance per child. Depending on your capability you adopt a child per session or for the whole primary or secondary school education.

All these children are registered under a colleague's foundation while interested people adopt them by catering for their living and education.

You'll be shocked that what it takes to cater for a child per term isn't up to what we as individuals blow on irrelevant things.
