No one knows if the universe had a beginning what we have are just speculations. The Big bang model has so many problems and it fails to account for many things. It is the model that modern scientist have settled for. The big bang model is just like the theory of evolution. It is NOT factual but a theory based on assumptions, guesses and speculations. Allen Guth one of the most recognized scientists in that field has made that clear. Scientist are only working with the Big bang model and all it entails. Do they truly know if the universe had a beginning? No they don't. They just have different models . Jut recently two cosmologists published a peer reviewed paper that says the universe is eternal.

He dd not address anything. He gave his own opinion. Other scientist have provided their own models that show that the universe is eternal and have answered his questions using quantum physics. But the reality is these are assumptions and speculations of people in the filed. They are not factual. Even the BIG bang model has been challenge and shown to be unable to account for many things, just the way evolution has been challenge but it still remains the best scientific model that explains the universe as we know it. It only explains it does not establish facts.

What the atheist scientists are trying to do so is to claim that there is a possibility that the universe came from utter nothingness uncaused .But of cause that's magic not science .

Just know that science has nothing to do with atheism , so I'm not sure why you think an eternal universe stops God from existing . It does not . We theists are arguing for a universe with a beginning because it makes God a personal God who has freedom of will to interfere in the affairs of the universe .

The deists and some panentheists are likely to accept an eternal universe because it makes God an impersonal God .

They just showed that their model works and they explained it. Your reaction to it is that you do not agree with it without showing why it is wrong. After they published their work AlKen Guth( one of the most respected scholars in the field ) was asked to tell us if the universe had a beginning or not and he said he doesn't know. Scientist are only making assumptions. Origin science is not factual. It is only aimed at explaining what has been observed. I can throw out names as well. You keep throwing Steven Hawkings as if his position and opinion supercede that of other scientist. It doesn't. It's just like me throwing Richard Dawkins opinion on evolution as the only and factual position out there.

There is no consensus on the origin of the universe. All the models are just speculative at best.

How does the universe having a beginning show that it was created by a single entity? Prove to us that the universe was created by a single entity. After that you also need to show us with evidence that this single entity cares about two gay men having sex somewhere in China. You also need to provide evidence showing us how this entity interferes in the andromida galaxy and how we can know that to be true.
