Alhamdulilahi.

God of power and might, wisdom and justice,
through you authority is rightly administered,
laws are enacted, and judgment is decreed.
Assist with your spirit of counsel and fortitude
the President of The Gambia.

May he always seek the ways of righteousness, justice and mercy. Grant that he may be enabled by your powerful protection to lead the country with honesty and integrity.

Finally sworn in on the blood of his son, tragic. let him de-islamize that country asap. wishing him all the best

THIS DRAMA GOES TO SHOW THAT YOU CAN GET TO ANY LEVEL IN LIFE NOTHWITHSTANDING WHERE YOU ARE NOW. BARROW WAS A SECURITY GUARD SOME FEW YEARS AGO BUT TODAY HE IS THE NUMBER ONE IN HIS COUNTRY. LIFE KEEPS TEACHING US IMPORTANT LESSONS IN HISTORY BOTH GOOD AND BAD.

MEANWHILE:

Jammeh somewhere now will be like
Was once a security guard ? I haven't read that. Life sha

The kind of parallel government Amaechi was proposing if APC loose! undecided
Nay, if Jonathan had tried anything silly. Wailing wailers are too funny these days; always trying to impressive themselves.
Let me tell you, seeing what Jammeh is going through and what will befall of him soonest, Jonathan must be there now thanking Abdulsalam & his team for that wise counsel.

Just keep on consoling yourself since that always makes you comfortable & to forget your predicaments. It's allow. After all, you can't beat a child but expect him/her not to cry.

GEJ is an honorable man, an enlightened thieves who propounded that stealing is mere and mere stealing is not corruption.
No wonder he followed rule of law and constitution when he turned back and stole money he himself appropriated for to buy arms and ammunition that could be used against the Boko Haram insurgency.
If you actually know the meaning of honorable, you would rescind your statement.

as if your prayers Even work!! C u ppl should try adding morals n conscience to it! Example: killing a man in the name of infidel! U know minus being tribalistic or sentimental! What's the prayer going to do? Even to the person that prays! What does it do when morals and conscience don't add to it?! It's just like a recital or speech!

Btw, the other guy that refused to step down is also saying the same prayer, to the same God! So u see why conscience n morals matter??! If he had it or if his religion encouraged it, he will think about the lives, fear, hurt, disappointment, not just himself and whatever he thinks his God is telling him!

Gambia’s new president Adama Barrow took the oath of office in the country’s embassy in Senegal on Thursday.

Barrow was sworn in days after seeking shelter in Dakar with incumbent Yahya Jammeh still refusing to stand down after losing a December election.
