Anambra state has not elected Local Government chairmen nor have the appointed Transitional chairmen of local Governments. All money accrued to Local Governments in Anambra Is controlled by a state Government that specialises in frittering away our common wealth while allegedly trying to buy an APC ticket for N5BN if reports from the IMO state Governor are true!

The victims of the Shennanigans of The Obiano Administration are the True Soldiers of APGA. Those that know what transpired in 2013...when an otherwise unelectable Novice, a retired Bank Auditor named Willie Obiano ended up as the last man standing, as a result of the Dubious machinations of the owners of the APGA Holding enterprise. Those owners of APGA investments and Trading limited ...made sure they other candidates.. Chief Chinedu Idigo, chief Obiogbolu, Prof Soludo etc where bad mouthed and rejected . While the confusion raged ... The then Governor Dr Peter Obi convened a meeting where he appealed to the Contestants and chief Chinedu Idigo humbled himself to get everyone behind the unknown for peace to reign...as his kinsman. Today the story is totally different, Peter obi has become a sinner in the eyes of many for fostering Willie Obiano on Ndi Anambra. Well he didn't, and I categorically say so, because I was in the opposition campaign team at the time. We knew Willie was a wild card foisted by The APGA Chairman and his deputy, while allowing the Governor to believe it was the only choice left to make. The rest is now confined to the history Books.

ROCHAS and OBIANO.
The Governor of IMO state had stated that three southeast Governors would port to APC In the coming months.. Without mention of names... Mischievious yes... Political...of course...
The Governor of Anambra state replied and the media became awash with terms like ..."Motor park Governor" "staggering Drunk" ...etc ruled social media and our newspapers...
In the last few days educational Qualifications have been assessed and exposed ...with the Governor of IMO state appearing better educated and qualified to the chagrin of avid enthusiasts of the Tiff.

Rochas Okorocha has always tried to act the loveable rogue ...some take him serious others do not... But he challenged the man whose mantra is ..."Willie is working!! " The Governor of Anambra state to list his projects and achievements. TILL DATE. NO ONE ...NOT EVEN THE OFFICIAL CHANNELS HAVE BEEN ABLE TO LIST OBIANOS ACHIEVEMENTS..
The only responses was a road in Mbaukwu (awarded by Peter Obi and abandoned by Obiano) and security. By Cyril Akunyili and Vin Ezechukwu.

Rochas : two years plus.
Obiano: 10 months.

Rochas has not done well at all in my books, but neither has Obiano. Judging by what they both inherited. Obiano judged solely on his own achievements is not better than Rochas. It is a shame that it took the Governor of another state to challenge Obiano to list his achievements .

Apart from the bridge flyovers variated from the Initial N1.5Bn to its present N15Bn...there is nothing worth N30Bn visible In Anambra state ..attributed to this Government. The roads to Achalla and Mgbakwu were abandoned for years"... THE SHOPRITE AT IKENGA MALL AWKA has been abandoned after sinking in so much money initially... So has the hotel at Agulu lake...which will soon succumb to erosion if not finished or given away on partnership.
There is a list of many abandoned projects, most already earmarked in the ANIDS programme coopted by UNHabitat and the Obi Administration as the blueprint for Anambra development till the year 2027! The ANIDs programme is now virtually defunct.
Should we allow all these to continue.....?

APGA, LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS/ TRANSITIONAL CHAIRMAN. AND 2017.

APGA was set up by Chekwas Okorie and others to have an Igbo political voice and leverage. When he was driven out and the party hijacked... The presence of Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu, ensured that some form of sanity and justice prevailed. Peter Obi singlehandedly brought APGA to national prominence by his Landmark court case.
The APGA faithful has been too forgiving and understanding of the charades of their leaders.
People like chief Austin Ndigwe have threatened to reveal all, while others have exposed and explained some of the malfeasance and skulduggery of those In charge of the supposedly Igbo party.

Party officials have become billionaires, without having any other career apart from politics...in national parties that is acceptable as they have multiple legislators and Governors... APGA has only AnAmbra state as its sole source of finance.
I have always joked that I will join APGA, only when it is changed to Anambra Progressive Grand Alliance.
It is wrong for a state to finance a local party where the past national chairmans office has been in AWKA...instead of Abuja ..like other national parties.

The true APGA members who have been used and abused, extorted and dumped...are still quiet and waiting for succour from those in charge...Yet at the last election...the PDP house of assembly contestants walked home with at least N10m while their APGA contestants who lost got N100k... Now ..no one know they exist anymore.

How can a party that has denied its youths and grassroots supporters the opportunity to become councillors and chairmen of their local Governments ask the same people to vote for them again?

The regime of Victor Umeh (past) and Willie Obiano have sentenced APGA to political purgatory by their individualistic pursuit of power and wealth ....while ignoring those whom they stepped on to get there.

The power to change all that is in the hands of APGA delegates, do not agree to anything because election is at hand. If it were to fight opposition politicians. Every effort will be made to appease or overcome.. But as loyalists... You will remain loyal ....even in famine... In sickness and in Good health ...SO WHY BOTHER WASTING MONEY AND APPOINTMENTS ON YOU.... YOU VE ALREADY SAID YES... ABII NO BE SOO?

Without Transitional chairmen...I wonder how WIW campaign team will win their localities!!

Every heavyweight in APGA has left. The squabbles and purported Agulerization of APGA has left a sour-bitter taste in the mouths of the APGA faithful, yet it is only now that the Governor deems it fit to start off construction of Roads mobilized by Peter Obi especially those awarded to Cossel Nigeria limited and Grandstar...which has been abandoned for a few years despite part payment and initial earthworks.

It is time for the APGA faithfuls to challenge Obiano, issue him with a vote of confidence or outright rejection by conducting primaries for 2017 , people like Chinedu Idigo should contest and take APGA to the next Level.

That is how democracy work, true democrats would throw the contest open. If Obiano is adjudged to have performed creditably well... He should contest, if not he should step down for another candidate from Anambra North.

The next few months will decide which way, Anambra is headed. But I know the chances of Obiano beating people like Hon Tony Nwoye or any other credible contestant is slim to say the least.

i have always known that this whole Rochas-Obiano saga is aimed at the Anambra 2017 governorship elections. In the weeks ahead,there will be an atttempt to ridicule the government of Anambra state,so as to score a cheap goal.
We are already use to APC game plan. The bad news is that Anambra state can never vote in an APC governor,even in the worst case of rigging,Obiano will still take the day,especially with the mess and national embarrasment happening at the federal level.
