What will now happen to lecturers getting their daily bread from this place, this structures I am seeing are not built with 118000, the best universities in Nigeria today did not get to where they are in one day, for somebody to spend money and put up the structure I am seeing shows he has a good plan, I don't think he built this to defraud people , the system or plan may not be perfect ,but will be if given time, getting an approval from govt is not a joke or a day job, you must understand that application for approval or inspection alone may be 200k, I think they should have been given time to grow with the regulatory authority coming to inspect the development from time to time, most things required by regulators are so much that you cant achieve them in a short time unless you have billions of naira ,,,,, I have heard of closures of illegal refineries, all these I see as killing small businesses trying to come up instead of encouraging them, ABA made shoes were seeing some years back as fake, but what do we see today, they are being celebrated. Please these are personal opinion, I may be wrong.

And the gullible will be blaming Buhari for our misfortune.

So this polytechnic is a misfortune abi. A laudible project that a patriotic nigerian undertake is a misfortune. Isn't it better to build a mushroom polytechnic than to stash the funds abroad and spoil our young girls. Rubbish nation with fullish people. Why can't govt support him or make it a technical college for one specialised subject.

I get angry when I see people talking abt illegal refinery, there is no such thing as illegal refinery. If I steal crude oil, boil it and get a few products Luke diesel and kerosene, then dispose the remaining product which I can not crack further. Will u say I have an illegal refinery?
As the this polytechnic, I get what u r saying but I think if the guy was serious abt getting it approved he would have. What is bad is bad, running an illegal polytechnic is a crime and efcc did the right thing, b4 starting any business one must have a plan. And getting govt approval for the polytechnic was suppose to be among the plan of the school even b4 the completion of the school.

motion, seconded, give him the time to get the necessary papers. Don't assasinate the economy that's already dying. Encourage the people that are trying to build it.

Na wa o...from the look of things, the population of people with legit wealth in this country must be so small. E be like say everybody na thief.

My brother, I tire ooo. I am even suspecting myself. I need to audit my account, I have about 21,000 naira in my account. I need to be sure that the money is legal and clean. Just everyone is a thief.

If Nigerians cannot get to political officer to steal the people's money, people like Dangote will tell Government to help him kill all competitors so that he will be a monopoly of essential commodity. Civil servants and contractors collude to inflate contracts and sometimes collect contract money and disappear. Even in our small offices, he meet contractors, clients and customers and collude with them to inflate prices and get a percentage. This country is in a big mess, no wonder God is not listening to our fake cries.
