Mexican Senator Armando Rios Piter has revealed that he is going to pass a bill this week, that is going to see Mexico stop buying corn from the US, in other to hurt the Americans after Trump threats against Mexico.

Mexico is one of the highest purchasers of corn from the US, CNN revealed that Mexico spends over $2.4b in importing corn from the US annually since 2015.

Armando who leads a Mexican Congressional committee on foreign affairs, told CNN at an anti Trump protest in Mexico city on Sunday that he is going to send a bill for the corn that Mexicans are buying in the Midwest and change to Brazil or Argentina."

He then added that it's a good way to let the Americans know that this "hostile relationship" have consequences.
