Why is this country Nigeria going from one drama to another? Every person is complaining and lamenting and yet for more than fifty years the problem is every day getting worse. The reason is very simple. Almost all know it but nobody wants to take the bull by the horns. The question is ‘who will bell the cat’? We keep on going on the wrong track - that of blame and counter blame, accusation and counter accusation and the corrupt politicians utilize the rugged situation to enrich themselves to the detriment of the citizens. The country becomes everyday underdeveloped. What is the problem?
Nigeria just like most African countries went through three wrong steps. First was the divisive amalgamation of this country for the convenience of the colonial masters. Secondly was the highly ethnicised independence rather than a national independence as caused by the colonial masters. Thirdly, was the consequential civil war. Until these three steps to the wrong direction are addressed, every hope for the actual development of this country will simply be hoping against hope. As we made it clear before, until Nigerians decide to address and retract these three wrong steps, we are not going to make anything out of this country.
Politicians and their collaborators – the neo-colonialists will resist every move to correct these wrong moves made in the past because they are the beneficiaries of this confusion in the country. But we have said earlier that Nigeria belongs to all Nigerians and not to corrupt politicians. Nigerians should decide what they should do. These corrupt politicians are servants and not landlords. In the next post, we shall present the only possible way out of this mess. How we wish Nigerians will follow us to reach the promised land. Once Nigerians know what to do, these corrupt politicians cannot but know that they are not owners of this country. The problem with Nigerians is that of ignorance. Nigerians keep on hoping for a better tomorrow yet they have seen that the country has been caged by these corrupt and heartless politicians

Politicians tell lies to come up and when they take the seat, they do as they want regardless of the citizens

The time Nigerian intellectuals use in blame and counter blame will be more than enough to plan the strategy to liberate this country

The time has come. We have passed the age of complaint, we must know that this is the age of action. We do not have to carry arms. We need knowledge. The pen is mightier than the sword. Knowledge is power!

Let Nigerians begin the Great Debate "How can this Country be Rescued"?

In Philosophy and logic, we have what is called, Thesis- Antithesis- Synthesis.

That is what we need in Nigeria today. We need all these accusations .

We need to plan our strategy. If Nigerians were to be enlightened, these corrupt politicians who make their fellow citizens suffer will no longer have any place in this country!

Enough is enough!!! The citizens of this country have suffered enough. Let Nigerians find a way out of this mess!

Nigerians intellectuals are challenged. Let all hands be on deck. The earlier, the better. It is the aim of our blog to initiate the Great Debate and lead Nigerians to the right direction.
