So so sad what will happen to the poor family now, and do we even have to tell the police authority to fishout and deal with that killer in uniform? Why shot in the direction of people. Even one who is not trained in fire arms knows how to raise a gun into the sky na.

I have said it beforeand Nigeria has no police all those boys scout walking around called police should be dismiss in batch by batch and get a fresh recruit this is the solution.

Nigeria police is one of the worst in the entire world. I don't know who tell lies most between Nigeria boys scouts called police and apc. These 2 organisation can lie in fact God is even afraid of their lies they are master in the craft.

Wait guys the so called police will deny it just watch their press release in a few hours, they can't stop lying. After they will say police is your friend, friend my foot.

Christiana told PUNCH Metro that her husband had left the house with a plan to demand payment of a debt owed him by a construction company.

She said , “ He worked as a painter and had executed a project for a construction company last year . He used the money that we saved for our house rent to complete the project . The firm paid him part, but still owed him about N 266, 900.

“ Since that time , he had been going to ask for the balance without any result. Our landlady recently served us a notice to quit and he became desperate to recover the money.

“ On Tuesday, January 31, around 1pm, we both left the house and when we got to Mile 1, we parted ways . I went to see a friend , while he went to the company. It was not up to one hour that I was called that my husband had been shot.

I went to report at the area command , but immediately I said policemen shot my husband , I was chased out . I went to the governor ’ s office and I was sent away like a thief.

I felt very sad and depressed on reading this. Later the Governor of the state will visit a church for "thanksgiving" and donate money to evil pastors. Yet he cannot hear the voice of the widow or avenge the blood of the murdered.

The death was caused by a federal officer and it was captured on CCTV! It has nothing to do with Rivers people so stop trying to give everything ur APC jaundiced political twist. The FG through its agent just murdered a Nigerian citizen!

That useless police officer should be ashamed of his life and incompetence behaviour. My take is that he should be dismissed and sentenced for others fools like him to learn. Rubbish.........

To the human race.. If the government
Does not arrest that police officer strip
Him of all his ranks and sentence him
For murder then the blood of this innocent
Should hunt and kill all government officials
And their family. Bullshiit

And somebody Saud the usually do that when they approach the junction because they are carrying money ...what nonsense how do you fire live ammunition in public space because you are carry money

Apart from their uniform, there are no other discernible difference between the Nigeria police and armed robbers.

They shoot into the air whenever they approach a busy area with their yeye bullion van or arrive the bank. They do this all the time in face of no provocation. But any day bad guys are ready to attack bullion van they all disappear. The day Nigerians will know that we have a good President is the day we get one that cleans the Nigeria Police Force. RIP Akpan. I hope your death change this rascality.
