Hen is creature just like every other animals. They have ability to reprocreate. Egg comes to continue the life process.

First man and woman came to this planet as an adult with ability to give birth to younger ones of their kind so also the animals even the trees.

With reference to chordate a course in Zoology aves evolved from dinosaurs through reptilian which where un able to lay their eggs uncovered I.e to avoid desication .Therefore through evolutionary modification aves where able to lay their eggs on earth surface with fully modified four amniotic membrane which all its descendants inherited e.g man
In other words eggs evolved from chodate or simply phylum chordata

In a sense egg, for the simple unicellular organisms from which all earthly things apparently evolved is much like the egg. In the ocean, these unicellular organisms evolved to more complex multicellular forms such as proto-fishes, proto-reptiles, proto-amphibians and proto-mammals (not quite like this but for the sake of keeping it short let’s pretend). Anyway, all of these creatures were dependent on water for reproduction. Soon, however, Oceanic Mammals discovered the surface of the oceans, that the skies and the land above the oceans and beyond the oceans held plenty of food (presumably plants) and spaces to escape the tribulations of the oceans. The mammals soon evolved lungs for the air and were able to colonise land near the oceans. However, still dependent on water they were compelled to return to the oceans to give birth. This continued until they evolved placentas. Placentas hold water. With the ability to take portable water with them, mammals became free of the oceans. To cut a long story short, the reptiles also were able to free themselves of the tyranny of the see by developing their own portable water source. This is the egg. Reptiles evolved into chickens.
