Did i fill this form wrongly....

Gurus in the house, pls say something. Since it wasnt asterisk (meaning it's not compulsory to fill the space) I felt i could leave the space blank, so I left it blank.

I am feeling concerned about the space I left blank for boarding and others. Though funds available is more than 10kcad after tuition fees deduction. But besides I had paid 8kcad out of the 28k for 1st semester fees as instructed by institution.

Good morning Bosses,

Can I have a response to this. Though it's not like I can change it grin But I will just know.

These words are used interchangeably by schools so they have the same meaning.

Since you've submitted already, just wait for the outcome since nothing can be done about it now. Ideally, you shouldn't leave it blank

For somebody sponsoring himself...how much should you have in your account as your bank statement? The tuition for the course is $14,000 and its a two year course.
Would be grateful if anybody could help me shed some ligjt on this. I'm getting ready to apply for my visa for January.

14 x 2 = 28kcad Tuition
10 x 2 = 20kcad Maintenance fees

Anything short of 48kcad (N12,028,150.11 @N250.59/1cad - current exchange rate) in your account, CIC may likely refuse such application based on Insufficient funds.

Reasons being that, it's expected that you won't be working in Canny while studying, and you do not have any sponsor who has a current source of funds should u only present the 1st year's tuition/upkeep fee as it's usually recommended by CIC.

if u intend sponsoring urself u will have to provide tuition fee and living expenses for the 2 years program(14k × 2) + (10k × 2) = $48k. u will need more than $48k. Do u have any dependant? as that will also affect it , I will advise u get a co-sponsor if u can't raise more than the $48k

I applied for Msc Comp in July 2015 and got admission in April 2016.

Hi everyone. I am new here and i have been following the thread. Its beeb helpful. With the your help i would like to know if
I stand a chance with my course choice. I have a bsc.in masscomm from lasu parttime.(2008)i an 35(f) married with two kids.i chose to study early childhood education (ece)at lethbrige university.its a one year certificate programme. Contact learning/ online. From which i can get transfer to other uni for a 2year diploma in the same course. The only experience i have as a teacher is with my sundayschool class for three years. I chose lethbrige beacause my sister who is my sponsor only has funds enough to cover a one year programme which cost $11500.lethbridge has a 2year ece diploma but its strictly online.i have called to confirm if they admmit i ternational students and its a yes. Do i stand a chance? My 2nd concern is" is it possible for the vo to question my choice of learning e.g why did i decide to travel for it when i can do it online. " thirdly iis it compulsory to present nysc certificate cos i exempted and yet to get my exemption letter. Thanks.

Be careful of lump deposite that are unaccountable and untraceable when boosting your account. Know that you will have to justify your income partly in the VO eyes. My 2 percent!!

Hello, as this course is fully online, it seems like a distance learning course to me. Please confirm if it is so. If yes, then you don't need a study visa for it. Why not look for a pgd in mass comm for one year. No you do not need NYSC certificate outside Nigeria, its strictly for Nigeria only and does not have any impact /effect on your foeign studies.

what is your work experience? what is your cgpa? give your full profile so that others can advise as well.

But note that for visa purposes, you will need more than just tuition fees, you also need maintenance upkeep for 1 yr (10k), if you are going with dependents ,additional 5k per dependent minimum, also flight costs etc need to be accounted for in your budget. So I would advise get another sponsor and boost your account so that it looks good financially.

Try and read through the thread, the last 15 pages will help you understand what I am saying. Ciao.

Hello,

I actually got to know this thread since last year, but I was a silent observer. I finally tried to post comments and ask questions around may before my application for trv but couldn't, due to login issues. I had to apply like that when I couldn't ask my questions and fortunately with a little help from friends and great help from God my trv was approved. I don't know if I count among the monikers you spoke of in the above comment, but these are my details.

University of British Columbia- applied December 7th 2016, admission march 30th 2017, Trv applications paper route with upfront medicals- may 26th 2017, approved July 7th.

This thread really helped a lot and gave me hope through it all, especially that motto "it shall end in praise, I kept declaring it. I really wish everyone the best and I pray that God turns all tears to great jubilation and laughter.

Hello House. I'm new here. Please my inquiry is urgent and important. I have just been rejected Canada study permit. Meanwhile i previously had Canadian and USA visitor's Visa. I was in Canada for vacation in January and got admission for MTEI(Master of Technology Entrepreneurship and Innovation) in April. My background is computer science and i work in a financial institution with about 5 years experience. The basis of rejection were 2: Insufficient and available financial resources without working in Canada to pay tuition fees... and purpose of visit.
My morale went low when i saw these reasons because the bank account of my sponsor and mine was more than enough to cover my full tuition and living expenses.I I did paper application. Now the challenge is this, the department that i was admitted into for September 2017 does not defer admission and i am considering reapplying before July runs out. Is it worth it? I do not mind putting documents together.
what should i address and what probably went wrong in my first application?
Since i did paper application for the study permit that i was rejected should i do online application now?
or should i appeal for my student application? Gurus please help meeeeeeeeee
Is this MTEI program for Saint Mary's? If yes PM ... lets talk. I'm taking the same program

Hello @Emmane,

I will like to know if you verified your application to print/ save the Barcode form.

I am asking this because I almost made the same mistake but when I tried to verify my application forms I had an error info. and I was referred to the blank space to fill, because you cannot verify without filling the blank space.

Anyway it shall end in praise.
