Peoples Democratic Party, PDP north pressure youth group under the auspices of the Northern Youth Fronties (PDPYF) has agreed to supports and remain loyal withing the mainsteam group of the party under the leadership of Senator Ahmed Makarfi.

It has also disagree with the judgement delivered by the Court of Appeal last week in Port Harcourt, favouring Senator Ali Modu Sherrif as the authenticated chairman of the party.

In a communique issued after a meeting with some selected representatives of the Youths Group across the North in Katsina, Katsina state in the weekend, the group mandated its zonal executive of the group to meet with others stakeholders across the country for a national rally in support of the Senator Ahmed Makarfi who was recognized by majority of the party stakeholders, include founding fathers, PDP governors, BoT and 36 state chapters across the country.

According to Press release submitted from Katsina during the weekend, Zonal Co-coordinator of the PDP Youth Frontiers group and Sokoto state Publicity Secretary of party, Alhaji Yusuf Dingyadi, said the decision taken by the representatives of the 26 Youth groups associated with the PDP activities in Nigeria that are bonafide
members of the party are done with good faith and for the love of the party.

He said, the group will meet next week in Abuja and Lagos respectively with some of the stakeholders and and founding fathers alive in order to seek supports for the national rally so as to bring a united and formidable stand on the youth’s decision of ensuring political cohesion, unity and progress under the Senator Makarfi’s leadership of the party.

“Our stand and resolution to backs Sen Makarfi was a unanimous decision and a firm one, because majority of our teeming youths across the country has agreed to support, show their solidarity on the genuine leadership of authentic party leadership under Senator Ahmed Makarfi and his executive as endorsed by our last convention of the party in Port Harcourt.

Therefore, we will use all the available time, resources and connection in the political contacts across the country; so as to engage ourselves in the process of enlighten party supporters for the effect and danger of leaving PDP to some known invaders, using the like of Senator Sherrif and his cohorts to destroy PDP and opposition in Nigeria” Said Dingyadi

“There is no court in Nigeria that can force the (Nigerian Youth) by accepting illegality or recognizing a person who we understand is plotting to destroy this party, the same PDP he want lead by force.
