While I condemn those who get involved in Ponzi
schemes I agree that many got into these scheme
due to our harsh economic terrain.

I for one have felt the brunt of the economic
hardship having to sell my ride few months after
this present administration. Business associates
bought goods on credit and never payed back.
Some of my start-ups crashed within 24hrs months
of opening. I was frustrated and left with little or no
choice than to beg for help from friends, relatives
and colleagues all who mostly couldn't help
because their business had folded.

Then the enemy of our souls saw an opportunity to
rip us of the little we had remaining. He promised
us to put little or nothing and reap many folds. This
was definitely against the law of nature which
supported sowing and reaping. These Ponzi scheme
put our money in a merry go round, they were not
making money of us, they simply passed our money
around from one person to another sometimes
stealing money in between the cycle and left us
praying that the money is in our hands when the
cycle stops rolling.

I was tempted to invest in these schemes. My baby
needed to be fed, my wife was almost fed up with
me because I had dried up her savings. I knelt
down and cried and prayed and begged, "that this
storm will not kill me, that I will come out
untouched and unahaken from this recession- in
God's name and power".

The scale had fallen off my eyes, the biggest
economic boom comes in the period of economic
melt down. Ideas kept rushing in, my financial
genius was revived, I woke up kissed my son on his
fore-head, forced a hug off my wife, dusted my
system and went off to work. Spent late night at
work. Wrote down ideas, by first looking for
problems. Wrote down solutions and struck out
innovations that were illogical. A company was
borne supplies were made, the government owed
but eventually paid. I didnt find flying bikes a curse
any more, I saw it as a phase. I paid off my debts slowly. That was Ponzi haters rebirth.

Today unlike other days I apologize to those I
insulted for passing the right message the wrong
way, to those I insulted trying to dissuade from
ponzi schemes, its a challenge making economic
might with no start up. But we must innovate and
device strategies to beat the harsh weather.

My advice remains shun ponzi schemes and
innovate.
