Oyo Govt., Google Train 30,000 Secondary Students On Digital Education by nazzyon(m): 9:27am On Mar 02, 2017
The Oyo State Government and Google Technology company, has trained 30,000 Secondary school students on Digital Education across the 68 Local Government and Local Development Council Areas (LCDAs) of the state, aimed at preparing the students

They added that the training of another 30, 000 secondary school students would commence tomorrow in Ibadan City, Oyo, Ogbomoso, Irepo, Ibadan Less City, Saki, Kajola and Ibarapa.

The Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Toye Arulogun, who disclosed the statistics on Wednesday, said that the initiative was in line with Oyo State Government (OYSG) Digital Advocacy Drive, saying the state governor, Abiola Ajimobi, wanted Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to be the bedrock of learning.
