The newly sworn in executives of the Ijaw Youth Council (worldwide), paid a working visit to the Bayelsa state Police command to familiarise themselves with the hierarchies of the Nigeria police force in the state.

The IYC executives led by its President, Comrade Barr. Eric Omare, said, it's is very important as law abiding citizens of the country to pay a familiarization visit to the Commissioner of Police in Bayelsa state upon resumption at the Ijaw house, the secretariat of the Ijaw Youth council. Omare while saluting the Police boss, he emphasized on the importance of sustaining peace in Bayelsa state being the Jerusalem on the Ijaw nation, that the Commissioner of police have not come short of expectations.

Also present at the meeting is the Secretary - General of the Ijaw youth Council, Comrade Parkins Ogede, the legal Adviser, Comrade Barr. Tare Porri and other executives.

Aside the full representation of the Bayelsa state police command, the meeting also witness top government officials of the Bayelsa state Government led by the Special Adviser to the Governor on security matters, Chief Boma Sparrow - Jack.
