The Labour Room Reality TV Show

Imagine a Television Reality Show that can create direct and indirect employment for over 200 thousand Nigerian youths and stimulate an Economic Revolution that will usher in a new generation of Nigerian Multimillion Naira Entrepreneurs. House mates from all the 36 states and the FCT will uncover, promote and project New Economic Potentials in their states from the Local Government areas especially. As the Nigeria Rebirth Project team travels round the world and the 36 states, they travel with the Economic Blue Print of this Show.

For sixty days, over 60 Million viewers across the world will watch as a Reality Television show will house some of the Best Minds in Nigeria who will pay the price in the Labour Room to deliver a new super Nation.

First National Development Reality TV show in Africa

The ‘LABOUR ROOM’ is the first National Development Reality Television show in Africa, strategically designed by the Nigeria Rebirth Project to activate the true Super Nation potentials of Nigerians.

Thoroughly selected Nigerian Youths at Home and in Diaspora from different Ethnicities, Religious, Political and Social divides will be subjected to the confines of a Ten Room Mansion in a secret location for 60 days. They will be confronted by the harsh realities of living with a stranger from a completely different background, but they must work together to solve real life issues confronting Nigeria and Africa like Unemployment, Leadership, Conflicts and the Challenges and Promises of the Future. Every housemate stands the risk of an eviction majorly supported by the TV audience if they cannot break through the limitations of the several differences other housemates bring to the house.

They will be watched and scrutinized daily by a cumulative television audience of about Sixty Million (60 million) people across the world. Some of the Special Television audience that will watch the Labour Room Reality TV Show includes, 48 African and world Leaders, 36 Governors of Nigeria and the FCT Minister, 114 Religious Leaders, Captains of Industries and other key players in the development process of Nigeria and Africa at large.

The last Four (4) housemates will emerge winners of the Labour Room Show and will be backing home a $1Million (N200 Million) Seed Capital for a Local content driven Company. However, amongst the four winners there will be a first, second, third and fourth category with each winning personalized prizes including a made in Nigeria Brand new Jeep.


Objectives Of The Labour Room Reality TV show

The LABOUR ROOM will activate employment across the country by its approach to empower housemates with seed capital. Every registered contestant stands a chance of being selected for employment in a Multimillion Naira company that is built from this Reality TV show.

The show aims at building strong leadership qualities in housemates and in the minds of the African viewers.

To develop a healthy system for the Nigerian societies.


The Production


FORMAT

The Labour Room Reality TV show has the genre based on reality that will focus on National Development. The programme basically is designed to attract viewers from across Africa and other continents because of its uniqueness which will showcase and infuse cultural differences and eventually provide a Nationalistic outlook.
PLOT

The show is planned to have a very contemporary design that encapsulates modern standards in television programme production. It is styled to have a set that includes and displays made in Nigeria products, Nigerian brands, heroes, a reflection of our heritage and our past leaders branded in and around the mansion. Viewers will be able to interact with the show through SMS and social media platforms.

Auditions are means of selecting credible, legible and distinct participants for the Labour Room reality television show.

The Labour Room will have two (2) phases of auditions.

PRIZE, REWARD & BENEFITS

Both contestants and viewers of The Labour Room reality television show will be duly rewarded after the sixty days. Some with cash prizes and some with rewards that is priceless:

- Sixty (60) million viewers: High motivation to dream big and numerous cash and kind prices.
- Registered contestants across Nigeria and diaspora: This category of people receives the Nigeria Rebirth 4litre Palm Oil, and automatically enters into the database of a new breed of Nigerian leaders and entrepreneurs.
- Every registered contestant stands a chance of being selected for employment in the Multimillion Naira Company that is built from this Reality TV show.
- Out-mates: This category will be contestants that might not necessary make it into the house but will work with the housemates. They are entitled to N50, 000.00 (Fifty Thousand Naira) each.
- Housemates: Each housemate is automatically entitled to N200, 000.00 (Two Hundred Thousand Naira) upon passing through the final screening process.
- Last four housemates standing: These last four will win the ultimate price of N200, 000, 000.00 (Two Hundred Million Naira) seed capital to start a joint multi-million naira local content company that will directly and indirectly employ other young Nigerians. This seed capital will be released in three (3) phases as the company grows. This seed capital will serve as a special investment by our partners under the supervision of some experienced Nigerian men and women. Details will be given in a special document to all contestants before the show starts.
- The highest share holder of the company will be the winner followed by the first, second and third runners-up respectively.
- First runner-up will receive a made in Nigeria car.
- The last man standing will win a made in Nigeria SUV.
- All contestants will be presented to a sitting leader of government in Nigeria.


WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE?

Any Nigerian within the ages of 18 – 40 years; who is smart, intelligent, industrious and has passion for nation building both at home and in diaspora.


REGISTRATION

Interested Contestants will begin their quest for National greatness by first sending via text message “LABOUR ROOM” to 08020321683 as soon as registration fully opens, participants will be contacted to purchase the LABOUR ROOM form. After filling a Labour Room Contestant form, contestants will write a short Essay that will be submitted to their State Coordinators (SC). Essays will be appraised by a panel of professionals.

Contestants who have successfully completed payment will get a free gift of Nigeria Rebirth 4liters Palm Oil. Registration fee is N3, 500 [Three Thousand Five Hundred Naira only]. Payments can be made online or at any FCMB BANK in Nigeria [NIGERIA REBIRTH PROJECT - 3573699029].

Also, Contestants can pick up a branded Labour Room T-Shirt for a N1, 000.00 (One Thousand Naira) from their State Coordinator (SC) only.

State Coordinators (SC) will manage the Registration Process across the states before the Zonal auditions. The coordinators numbers and details will be published on this website as soon as registration fully opens.



DIASPORA

Nigerians in diaspora will have the opportunity to also participate in the LABOUR ROOM. To participate, Nigerians in diaspora will have to complete the registration process online, as follows:


Purchase of forms will be done on the official website of the Nigeria Rebirth (www.nigerirebirth.org.ng). Forms will be filled and submitted online.
The 1st phase of auditions (essay writing) will be conducted on the website.
The 2nd phase of auditions (visual interviews) will be conducted via the official Skype account of the LABOUR ROOM for shortlisted candidates on a scheduled time and date.

The Final Selected Housemates will be screened and trained for one week before the Show commences.
