Step 1: Have regular tune-ups, check-ups, and servicing. When it’s time to resell your car, a potential buyer will want to know that your maintenance schedule was followed.

This is so that they can be assured that the vehicle is in great working condition.

Thanks for the heads up. I think you left out transmission- by my observation in Nig., an average (Nigerian used) AT car will sell faster, easier and more expensive than its manual counterpart. Manual cars depreciates quickly in the eye/mind of an average Nigerian. The demand for it is restricted to a 'small set', thus, giving it a poor 'resale value'.

When we wanted to sell an old car...it defied every law of demand. E no get wetin I no hear.(please bear in mind that nothing was wrong with the car).
