u guys don make me cry taya this sunday. if there's any justice in the world, y some people go dey dowload at hundreds of KBpS and on a very good day i go dey get 6.3KBpS max.(and it wont even hold for up to 2 min, b4 e drop to like 3.5)

is somthing wrong with my setup? i use a nokia 5300 to conect to mtn's EDGE network. she na my phone modem no strong or wetin?

Omo 3G na the way forward o!! Besides, i advise you to use a HSDPA usb modem, not your phone.

Its not a matterr of 3G, am using a sleek awsome Three UK unlocked Modem, its freedom thats is the issue here is a screen shot of my real avergae speed without freedom below

My bros dem, please, I have begged you guys here few days ago but I could not even know where the post is now. I am thrilled and very interested in your speeds here. I have been using free web proxies to surf but my problem is downloading speed. Sometimes, I may not even be able to download. Though, I use my Nokia 6300 as amodem on my PC. A friend of mine travelled to the village and left his MTN modem with me for use but nothing for me to enjoy so much if you look at the screenshot I left here. Please somebody should please make me feel it. I will like to be part of this and will also reciprocatein my own little way of response. Anybody interested to assist, please PM me or mail me. What you are sayiong is true. I have been using my phone as usual just like I said erlier. Few day ago,  a friend I used to assist on little PC-solutions came with an MTN modem for me to check why it wasnt working in his house as he had already started feeling frustrated because he just bought two days ago. It worked for me because he does not know how to configure it to run on GPRS/EDGE preferably since 3G signal is scarce around us. The man had just travelled leaving it with me now pending his return within this few days. I know 3G signal is the ultimate but, 2g and 2.5g also do very well if you have a good internet hook-up.
Please, gentlemen, give me hope, please. Look at the screenshot I made out of my dying browsing.

Guy I wonder how on earth you get that on a 3G modem, seriously you should query MTN by the way where is your location?
